No, I am saying that it is clearly obvious that one of the reasons that they are not run blocking that well is because they are not blowing off the ball. When a run play is called, their first move is to stand straight up, which is why they get blown into the backfield by the D line. I used to be an offensive lineman and we were always taught to fire off the ball low and hard. The lowest man in the trenches always wins the battle, because he has leverage! If you stand straight up, then you have already lost. Now, maybe our running plays are designed as zone reads and have zone blocking...to that I say forget the zone stuff. Line up and block the man in front of you whichever way he goes...destroy him!! I am hoping that they are getting angry by all the negative media about how sickening the running game is...that is all. I am not saying that they have not been trying or anything like that. They have actually done very well, for the most part, in pass protection...especially compared to last year. I hope that this is the week that we say let's go out and blow up the man in front of you! Fire off low and hard...that will get the job done!

i agree.

a little anger and fire couldnt really hurt at this point

OP, i hope you are correct. Would really like to see the upset. One thing im concerned about is if it did happen, would the team be emotionally drained after a win like that and not give Bama a game? If we can beat LSU, we can beat Bama or at least keep it close if we keep our heads on straight.

With all due respect that is the least of our worries. We just need a quality win over an sec opponent.

If we had beaten Georgia I would have a little faith. As it looks now not so much. Regardless I will be in the stands Sat. cheering on my team.

uga was the important game. This game don't mean crap at this point.

exactly, which is why we will win. it doesnt mean anything to us but to LSU it does. that pressure is hard to deal with especially at neyland. last time i was there. we still put 100,000 in the stands. everyone needs to lighten up and have some ****ing faith.

No...please enlighten us.

we had no bray last year at LSU,
NO HUNTER (non factor), NO ROGERS( bench warming), AND A ****TIER DEFENSE (need i list the starters?). WE are a team that has ROGERS who is established, the same QB last year and the game is in our house. wow through deductive reasoning i like our chances. PLUS REVIEZ IS NOT PLAYING MLB. jesus people on here are retarded.

Cause you know we'll need it. Lots of it. :) Give us some of that magic that Les Miles seems to have.

Does he sleep with a voodoo priestess before each game? Just curious.

les miles magic is the grass in tiger stadium, has jar of magic grass sitting on his desk in his office and takes that jar with him on away games.
