Why do so many fans just fawn all over Kiffin?

Your CURRENT COACH inherited a team with 30-something transfers, a dark probation cloud, several key guys out with injuries, a new staff, buncha new players, and just came within inches of beating Kiffin’s ass. And Kiffin has a full year head start and a phenom at QB.

Who cares if Kiffin was a sweetheart in the presser and who cares what his thoughts are on the UT job? That’s disrespectful to Heupel, who in my opinion is among the COY candidates.

Let go of this Kiffin unrequited love.

Kiffin misses the UT coeds. I've spent time in Oxford and he's hurting, I'm sure, for a steady stream of "talent."

If he can hit UF, he'll "hit it" for sure.

Never said I'd be for or against him returning to the hill just stating what I observed from the interview. Even the wife who has no idea thar he has a history with UT asked: "why does he seem sad, didn't his team win?" The fan base in Oxford doesn't have the same passion.

He KNOWS we could have been his crowd instead of the **** one at Oxford. His own karma to deal with

Funny how people read this differently. I saw it as him being upset when he realized the level of hatred Tennessee has for him now, and regret at knowing his actions tonight helped fuel an ugly situation. If there was ever a sliver of hope for him coming back here, it's gone after tonight.

Kiffin loves UT more than you guys think.
Kiffin loves Kiffin, he’s really never loved anything as much as he loves himself. He’s got a great team at Ole Miss and had some time to build it and he damn near lost to Heupel with a depleted roster that no coach in the country thought they could win with.

I care. If you don't move along to the UF forum.... not really sure what provoked you to comment.

Never compared him to the current coach even in the slightest aspect so I'm not sure what the hell you're talking about. I only pointed out that he has obvious regret

I hope the people that were on the fence about Kiffin becoming the coach at UT one day have all changed their minds. I don’t want that Rat Bastard anywhere near this team ever.

Honest question, what about tonight makes you say that?

Kiffin didn't have one negative thing to say about the crowd during the post game interview. He was so proud of the golf ball he had to show it off. Seemed to even be almost tearing up as he spoke about it. I truly believe that if offered the HC job on the spot he'd have never gotten back on the bus bound for Oxford. He knows he made a mistake leaving. Disagree if you want but I stand by it.

Congratulations. F.I.O.T.Y. trophy is all yours.
