Wasn't Kyle Rittenhouse's gun a semi-automatic AR-15 style rifle? That is what I remember reading. I'm sorry if that is not accurate, but I was just working from memory. I didn't take the time to look it up, and probably should have. My apologies.
What type of gun did Kyle Rittenhouse use then?
I have never seen anyone look like that when they were about to cry... and I have a teenage daughter who cries at everything - hell, even ASPCA commercials.
The biggest problem that I have with Rittenhouse, is that he lied about being an EMT. He didn't really have to be there at all. He wasn't a member of the police force, he wasn't official security personnel, and he wasn't official medical personnel either (although he claimed to be). His dishonesty concerning the purpose behind his presence at the demonstration, reveals a self awareness that he wasn't needed. Falsely identifying one's self as an EMT, in order to remain on scene, is something that a vigilante would do. Now, in this case, I do believe that he was acting in self-defense, and he should be acquitted. However, I also don't think the police and actual emergency medical personnel needed his assistance. He should have spent that night engaged in other pursuits.Ok so if you have a problem with someone bringing a semi-automatic weapon to a protest demonstration, what type of gun should he have on his person to protect himself?

I don't buy it. Sorry. He wasn’t crying. He had a psychotic break and full on panic attack that mirrors PTSD breakdown.
Hang around some ex marines/army who have done actual war duty and killed people and you will eventually see this or something like it. What happens is you compartmentalize a special traumatic event and something triggers it and every emotion and fear you walled off hits you at one time and the brain and synaptic sensors overload and shut you completely down.
He wasn’t crying. He was gasping for air and felt the walls were closing in.
Panic attacks are no joke and they are debilitating.
That's not the issue. The issue was it being semi automatic so I'm asking BB85 what type of gun is acceptable.
Have you ever known someone that suffers from severe panic attacks? Again, I am not saying that he is being authentic and that he is suffering from panic attacks. I just find it a bit presumptuous to act like we would know what is going on in this guys mind.I have never seen anyone look like that when they were about to cry... and I have a teenage daughter who cries at everything - hell, even ASPCA commercials.
Your entire response had nothing to do with the question posed. The biggest problem that I have with Rittenhouse, is that he lied about being an EMT. He didn't really have to be there at all.
