Kyle Rittenhouse - The Truth in 11 Minutes

Wasn't Kyle Rittenhouse's gun a semi-automatic AR-15 style rifle? That is what I remember reading. I'm sorry if that is not accurate, but I was just working from memory. I didn't take the time to look it up, and probably should have. My apologies.

What type of gun did Kyle Rittenhouse use then?

Lol. It was the same action as the gun pointed in his face. That doesn’t fit your narrative though does it “Kevin de Leon”?

I don't know who called you what or why, is it because you put emphasis on it being semi- automatic? I mean anything that isn't a revolver is. I won't speak to their motivations but I'd guess that's likely why.
I was just giving a general description.... and we have some babies on here.

Good lord you people are sensitive. An AR-15 style rifle is a lightweight semi-automatic rifle.
Correct. It's just that the statement as you wrote it is awkward and seems quite agenda driven.

Would you call all the guns involved "semiautomatic weapons" or just the AR?

I have never seen anyone look like that when they were about to cry... and I have a teenage daughter who cries at everything - hell, even ASPCA commercials.

He wasn’t crying. He had a psychotic break and full on panic attack that mirrors PTSD breakdown.

Hang around some ex marines/army who have done actual war duty and killed people and you will eventually see this or something like it. What happens is you compartmentalize a special traumatic event and something triggers it and every emotion and fear you walled off hits you at one time and the brain and synaptic sensors overload and shut you completely down.

He wasn’t crying. He was gasping for air and felt the walls were closing in.

Panic attacks are no joke and they are debilitating.

Ok so if you have a problem with someone bringing a semi-automatic weapon to a protest demonstration, what type of gun should he have on his person to protect himself?

I don't think a 17 yr old should be bringing any loaded arms with him. Do you?

The biggest problem that I have with Rittenhouse, is that he lied about being an EMT. He didn't really have to be there at all. He wasn't a member of the police force, he wasn't official security personnel, and he wasn't official medical personnel either (although he claimed to be). His dishonesty concerning the purpose behind his presence at the demonstration, reveals a self awareness that he wasn't needed. Falsely identifying one's self as an EMT, in order to remain on scene, is something that a vigilante would do. Now, in this case, I do believe that he was acting in self-defense, and he should be acquitted. However, I also don't think the police and actual emergency medical personnel needed his assistance. He should have spent that night engaged in other pursuits.

How do you feel about every single person being there who was peacefully or not peacefully protesting?

How do you feel about the three people he shot at being there?

I don't buy it. Sorry.

That's not the issue. The issue was it being semi automatic so I'm asking BB85 what type of gun is acceptable.

In this particular case his age is a big issue. He's not mature enough to process all he had coming at him. I don't think he's guilty of murder but I think some maturity would have served him well. If he were my kid, I'd chew him out for putting himself in this position

Have you ever known someone that suffers from severe panic attacks? Again, I am not saying that he is being authentic and that he is suffering from panic attacks. I just find it a bit presumptuous to act like we would know what is going on in this guys mind.

I too have a teenage daughter that spent almost every weekend with her Grandparents. My daughter is a hugger, and she stayed at her grandfathers side for 12 years. They done everything together. Last year I had to pick her up from school and let her know that he was gone. She never cried the first tear. Different folks handle trauma differently.

Your entire response had nothing to do with the question posed.
