It’s difficult to know if these high dollar coaches are worth it.. what I see is good players making good coaches. He had elite talent at Ohio State. How much of that was coaching? I wouldn’t sell the farm for this guy. Money not well spent IMO, if we don’t give him talent to work with.

Did he have elite talent at Oklahoma St or Duke? Nope, sure didn't. Will elite talent speed up the defensive rise up the rankings? Of course and guess what we have now that he did not at those two places? The portal and a top 5 class to build from.

truth. this guy is going to have access to talent. next year may be rough but it couldn't be much rougher than this past year. there was a reason Ryan Day hired this guy and they won a championship because of it.

At Oklahoma State, yes. That 2021 defense had 11 NFL players on it. It was crazy loaded.

We all know that he’s not a first year turn around type coach, but he is the best DC hire that we have had in decades.

If he fell into Fulmer’s lap, Fulmer would have taken the pass, because he was always too paranoid (back stabbing) to make this type of hire.

Also Penn State was replacing even more nfl talent than we were this year and they still had a statistically better year on that side of the ball than we did. You trade our defense with theirs this year and we are all buying tickets to the rose bowl.

I think if a head coach is fired players have a window to leave the program immediately.

I cant believe Moore let his sex life cost him $50M or whatever the remainder of his contract was. Fired with cause means no "golden parachute". So that booty cost him tens of millions of dollars. They have to be enrolled in school to enter the portal, a lot of schools don't start the spring semester until portal closes.

Michigan starts classes on the 8th and the portal goes through the 16th so either way he can enter
