How sensitive some people in fanbases get over what a commentator says about their team will never cease being hilarious to me.
Kirk is one of, if not the best college football analyst in the business. He's going to be wrong sometimes, but more often he's right. And I've seen him both praise Tennessee and criticize Tennessee over the years, going back to the very beginning of gameday. He bases what he says about programs based off what he thinks about them in those current moments.
It's his job.
It's nothing to get upset about. There isn't some secret conspiracy where he's rooting against the Vols. It's just opinions in the moment.
Kirk hates Tennessee and Tennessee fans because of the Greg Schiano situation. He said in a tweet in November 2017 that Tennessee fans should shut up and accept Greg Schiano as Tennessee Head Football Coach. Kirk and Greg Schiano have the same Agent.Didn’t KH back Schiano and belittle our program for not getting behind his candidacy?
I hope your employer is more rational in your job reviews.I couldn't care less what they say in the studio. Fact is, we had the game won ON THE FIELD where it counts. Up by 11 with a few minutes to play and allowed them to score again and almost win was inexcusable . If that had happened, our coaches contract would have been canceled immediately. I'm enjoying the win, but bigger slices are on our plate. We need to learn how to sustain a lead if we get it.
You an ESPN employee lol. No shot you find him supportive of UTI’ve always found Herbstriet to be very support of Tennessee football, even during the really tough seasons. I’ve always thought he respected us and wanted us to get back in the mix. Hated seeing him pick Florida, but it’s his job to pick. Some people get their feelings hurt too easily.
what a back peddle lolWell, he’s saying now we can challenge Alabama in a few weeks and a few other nice things:
Kirk Herbstreit: Tennessee football 'was incredible' vs. Florida, 'absolutely' can challenge Alabama
