There was some pretty boneheaded coaching on IU's part most notably not using a timeout before halftime and having to settle for FG instead of trying for a TD.

It's not like most of those teams got blown away or anything. Ohio State lost at the very end; could've easily won the game. Same deal with Wisconsin, which lost by 1. Iowa trounced USC. Penn State won by 2 TDs versus Memphis. Michigan was the only one that fared poorly, but they also played a team that was much more talented.

I would say the Big 10 fared pretty well overall but didn't catch the breaks in the close games.
