There are idiots in every fanbase.

I'm entitled to an opinion just like everyone else. I'm not asking for the 2nd coming of Pat. I want a coach that runs a system that is actually beneficial to the development of players. No Elite player is going to come here and be apart of a hockey substitution every 5 minutes.

This coach can not make adjustments. Lost the entire locker room. She is the problem.

I’m probably one of the biggest hatters of DW on this board. Nice to see lady vol fans join in, but even I don’t want the man gone. I just want him to get his ish together. Football falls off the cliff this year then he absolutely needs to go. And it’ll be his own fault for trying to follow rules in a lawless land

To a fanbase that the loudest section is showing hate for a 2nd year HC. I'd say she's locked in on getting the right players this time around with a better assistant coach evaluators. This will be the last year if not, I think the coaches went for MCD players without enough assessment just trying to say on on paper we got the #2 class that & 3$ will get you a loaf of bread. They were worse in the portal ended up with toxic players and the returners for UT Coop & Z needed on floor leader they were all followers and then lose Ruby.
Doing stupid stuff like wasting 2 spots to get one player to win the recruiting battle by bring along a sibling that is a DII player, was ridiculous. I think you need to get behind the team because IMO their going to bring in Ferrari from FSU and if things go totally bad he may be interim coach as the season goes along. It is what it is, taking pot shots at the team to relieve some of your anxiety is not helping the team and brand move forward in the long run. You are doing auxiliary damage to the brand that you supposedly love. It just cements this is a coaching graveyard, with a fan base that wants the final 4 every year in a conference that had 5 or 6 potential F4 teams. USC, Vandy, LSU, Texas & Oklahoma to name 5 it is gauntlet. Name any top coach that would come here to hear that's not how Pat would have done it, "by gawd' as they spit tobacco & it runs down their chin. ;)
CKC is going to be the HC just get behind the team and then bring your torches and pitchforks out in December next year if that's what your mode of operandi is.
Couldn’t agree more. Some/many of the comments on here are just pure hatred for a person who did not seek the job - but took it when offered. She had a more than respectable year 1. Stumbled in year 2 due to her own doing, and some situations which she could not control. Many posters on here continue to attack her in a brutally personal way. Those that do so are more than likely malcontents - unhappy with their own disappointing lives and it makes them feel better to trash others to elevate themselves.
Sad existence….

That would be me, she better not say anything, her words are hollow. If I see her, I would confront here. I have left foot right foot breathe...tattoed on my body. Im embarassed. Lady vols fans are embarassed. smh. Id never thot Id see the day. f^^k that Im angry. And aint nothing, she or anybody can say to change that, they say time heals.lol

She shouldnt be allowed to wear orange...or Lady Vols logo or brand til she earns it. And she might want to fit some leadership, coaching and communication training in her busy schedule this summer. She looks and act like a lil girl, immature, just like her team, this is not a get rich scheme kinda job, magician job, poof alakazam job. Nawl Boo.. This job requires a grown woman who knows what it takes to build tough, elite, and disciplined women, Lady Vols.

The legacy might be too heavy, especially with her having no real investment in our storied tradition.

I had to watch my Vols woman get blown out on national tv, not once but all season. I had to watch players quit on national tv, then wasting my money to buy tickets to see that crap, when my budgets are tight, to support the Vols woman basketball team. I will refer to them as Vols women basketball team, cos thats damn sho aint Lady Vols basketball. So yeah if I see that b$$$h, its on. And if we wouldve missed the tourney...omfg ...so yeah Kimmie got me f&&cked up. Pat4life.

I was with you up until this last sentiment. I’ve always found most of this board fairly centered. This is an exceptional challenge to all of those on the board that truly bleed Tennessee Orange and Summitt Blue.

But to answer your question, go listen to this: here’s where it’s coming from :

Once you listen to it though, ask yourself why 2 years into her tenure we never once heard this as an issue, but now suddenly “5 people” from the school was texting this info.

This sounds like UTAD spin.

If a coach was causing so many problems, he/she would have been fired mid season.

No one wants to play in this system. Especially high level talent.

So many people want to move the goal post . The way DW raises money he's not going anywhere unless he decides. Football and men's basketball are the main driving force for any AD and it's in good hands at the present time. Football may have some trouble with a first year starting QB but things are looking upward.

Same here. It is tempting to say that year 3 will be the tie breaker but the apologist --i.e.the same one who celebrated this year's recruiting class wildly to then determined they were all talentless cancers-- will say that how can we expect to fairly judge Kim after she had to completely rebuild her roster?

On last year, I am still sticking with the claim that the team underachieved. It was a very balanced squad and had a talented and experienced PG in Spencer running the show. Had Kellie or any coach preaching sound fundamentals had that team, they would have done better than 8-8 in conference (and without a lot less volatility in their losses) .

Last season, particularly after the first 10 games, everyone figured how to beat our press and the offensive worked okay not because of the scheme but because players like Spencer, Whitehorn, and Spear knew how to run decent improvised sets. Not as much pressure was put in the shoulders of Coop, and Spearman to create things.
Kudos to the team for beating UConn and Ohio State last year, but didn’t we play on the very first day of the SEC tourney last year after going 8-8 with a pretty favorable schedule? Oklahoma. South Carolina, one of the LSU games, Ole Miss, and Alabama were all home games. We only played Texas, Kentucky, LSU one game, and Vanderblit away. We lost to Vandy twice for the first time. We had to go on the road for the NCAAs. If anything, it was a very up and down year. We could beat Iowa but lose to Georgia.

The players that entered the portal to follow a coach or the players fed up with the CF he helped create?
I've been saying all along something was happening inside the program. Actually you would have to be blind not to see the whole thing coming apart. This problem got worse as the year progressed. So many actions from players were totally out of line and she just didn't know how to fix it. I believed everything the reporter was saying because I seen the results.

I agree. It gets so old. But it’s an opinion based forum. I’ve already put one on ignore and his two buddies are about to be not far away.

It will take a major fall this year for him to be fired. Next year might be a different story. It's actually the NCAA's fault fir not policing all the tampering. With all the trouble we dodged with Pruitt, I guess he feels we need to toe the line for awhile anyway. Remember were not Bama, they would try and bury us if the opportunity presented itself, imo.

She was seeking and any believing she wasn’t is only fooling themselves. If she was content on DII, she should and would have stayed. Tennessee just happened to open up and she accepted. Bump in pay and an opportunity to coach in the big time of DI….that in and of itself is motivation to seek employment at a higher level. Throw in great facilities, fan base and home of the greatest in CPS, only a fool at her previous level would have declined. But yeah, odds are she was seeking.

You are either a Vol or Lady Vol fan or you aren’t. Pick another coach to hate. Second year coaches rarely win national championships. We will know soon enough

Ive always been a vol fan and I always will be. Those of us who have our eyes open already know she is not going to get done. She is a complete embarrassment to this program.
