Kiffin texting Pruitt during Vol Calls

Finebaum just tried to get it out of Kiffin...asked him what the text was all about. Kiffin only offered that it was a group text with him, JP, WF, and KS. Said he wasn't sure what the text was.

Funny how everyone takes a bad situation that involved Kiffin here and write him off as a bad coach. Kiffin is a good coach and Ole Miss is going to be a very tough team to beat in a couple of years. He is great a scheming with the talent he has.
Except at USC I guess.

Kiffin did not hire himself as HC at UT, MH did. There were other candidates available much more qualified than Kiffin that could have been hired after Fulmer was let go. Long story short, Mike Hamilton was a disaster and is the main reason football was set back over a decade. Hamilton shopped for a car at a used car lot instead of going to the Mercedes dealership when it came to hiring football coaches.
How could he go to the Mercedes dealership when many Vol fans were saying Fulmer was done dirty here? Our options were somewhat limited due to the fan negativity around the program.

And as for Hamilton, who supported him for AD when Dickey retired? Fulmer, Peterson, and Summit.

Kiffin asked Pruitt to be his DC on a return trip to USC.

Said Jeremy could Skype in a going away message to Vol fans while Farmer Fran stole some UT recruits and convinces Bailey to transfer.

Also said he misses Layla.

His departure was largely due to fact that Mike Hamilton did not make Kiffin's buyout big because that was the only way to get his salary under $2MM.

Just to save a couple hundred thousand bucks, Hammy F'ed our program up for a decade...

Ugh...bean counters in charge of something they know nothing about...so much blame to go around

It's definitely Will Muschamp as opposed to Will Friend; Kiffin said that they "all have the same father," so that makes sense.

If had hadn’t taken off in the middle of the night I can only imagine how many times he would’ve taken us to the promised land. Instead we are climbing out of this hole that the administration, Dooley and butch dug for us. He is a great coach, just had some growing up to do.

Why do you think Chaney isn’t healthy?

I mean granted I'm not a doctor, nor did I stay at a Holiday Inn last night........but I am 40 and have to have 4 physicals a year due to my job and if I went in at 58 (his age) looking like.......3250831194401345889_img_7718.jpg ..........my doctor would lose her 💩. I would be willing to wager if he does yearly blood work that his doc doesn't come in saying "everything looks great." Add in the 2 more years (before kiffin is fired) of 365 days worth of high stress and probably poor sleep and you may be looking at a Urban Meyer "for health reasons" type of retirement at 62/63 years old......then slide kiffin in as OC. 🤷‍♂️

That’s some pretty solid info . I didn’t know someone could do that on here.
Oh yeah, I started cruising the Zone a few years ago and it really opened my eyes to all VN had to offer. (Just don't tick off the squirrels in there.) My edits have really improved over the last few months thanks to Souce. Check it out...🔥🔥🔥20191204_170330.jpg

Doesn’t matter what fans thought about Fulmer getting the axe or where the support came from for MH. We had to move on as a fan base. MH did a horrible job and football sucked with him as AD. All he had to do was pay a proven coach what they were worth. He instead took a huge gamble hiring LK and it backfired. To make matters worse, he hired Dooley once his first FB hire was a failure. Troy freakin Calhoun was on his list of candidates to coach the Vols for goodness sakes.

If it doesn’t work out at Ole Miss, he’ll snap up the next Louisville level gig or even Florida Atlantic. He isn’t built to work FOR another HC.

Nor is he built to be a head coach. He may have learned and can take another shot at a decent job but he probably should settle for a coordinator job. This would allow him to be kiffin without the responsibility of a head coach.

He was just trying to line up having Jeremy as a guest on the next Kiffin Korner after beating Georgia.

We disagree. He doesn’t like taking orders...kinda need your OC to accept that. Might never be a championship level HC but he’s better than merely good by a long shot. I can see him at Ole Miss the rest of his career.

Assuming he doesn't up and leave in the middle of the night.

I think we agree on more than you think. He doesn't like taking orders, or following rules or doing anything that doesn't benefit himself. The easiest of those to overcome and still have a job is an O.C. I agree if he is going to be successful then he should stay at Ole piss and really prove to everyone that he can be a grown-up.

Kiffin has never won as a head coach anywhere that matters. Up until this point, he is the most overrated and underperforming coach in my life time. He is one heck of an offensive mind but there is so much more to football success. He has had 1 season with 10 wins in a major college football and that was in left coast football.

Kiffin, Pruitt, Muschamp, and Smart text each other in a group text each week.
