I really don't care who our QB is.

I just want to WIN games!!!

If Shy Tuttle turned into our starting QB and could WIN games then that would be fine with me.

Our coaches should have it figured out for certain by the floriDUH game...I hope.

I won't be surprised if we see 2 or 3 QB's playing in our first 3 games.

Just WIN baby!

The writer is trying to create more articles by insinuating Keller had a big day and is ahead just after they said JG was ahead. He’s just trying to create Drama so they have something to write about. I doubt that anyone there would leak info like this too after Pruitt made it a closed scrimmage. Hence a “closed scrimmage”

Lets hope that one of the two finally puts it together and makes some progress to separate themselves. I know at the open practice JG looked to be the leader. Chryst reminded me of the old saying "looks good in pads". He is by far the biggest QB UT has had in a few years. I will say I didn't notice him not having zip on the ball like has been stated about him.

Sure, Schaffer showed out during the UNLV game but after than Ainge slowly got the job, then when Schaffer got out of bed and chased down a guy who had insulted his girlfriend, that was the end of Schaffer.

In my experience as a vol fan two of the most exciting fall and offseason practice years were the 2004 year of ainge and Schaeffer and the 2001 year of Kelly washington.

For whatever reason, maybe I like the prospect of mobile quarterbacks.

I’m sure he didn’t sign with Stanford to ride the pine, either...but he did. His INTENTIONS are meaningless...he has to WIN the job. And this staff isn’t going to tank themselves before they get started by making starter promises...that what Butch is accused of. Pruitt was on the Bama sidelines when highly recruited Blake Barnett...freshly redshirted and primed...lost the starting job to a 4 star true freshman in the first game. Bet he paid attention.

i'm sure he didn't. but that's not THE REASON he gets the job, no more than the reason JG should get it because the upside is higher.

before JG's upside or KC's intentions should be considered, one of them should actually earn the job. then all that other stuff can come in to play.

Fact of the matter is JG didn't stay to ride the pine.

It doesnt matter what they wanted to do. We'll see who earns it.

Fair enough, but KC had other options too I’m sure. Fact is, KC prob will end of being your starter. Let’s see how JG handles it bc both should play at some point. If JG can’t hammer down the position this year, I don’t think he’s in orange next year.

Did I say it was wrong? No I said it was hearsay, which considering the author did not witness the scrimmage, that is exactly what this article is.

i think JG will handle it fine. he has a say in how this competition ends. so does KC. the only thing that's a 100% certainty at this point in time is that KC will not be here for 2019. past that....

we've had 1 scrimmage.
