Well... it would be if they had proof of him recently doing a bunch of public events, the book was published 14 years ago. But yeah, saying you avoid public speaking is not the same as I never publicly speak. LOL

I don't believe that actually meant that back int he day. It may mean that now but I don't think it did then. I was 18 in 1983 and none of those terms were used as slang for anything.

..One of my Vietnam area GPS guided bombs lost its internal navigation and GPS antenna so I put my Cobra into autopilot hover mode and rode the bomb down near the VC encampment. As I saw the commie scum I noticed they were flying flags with donkeys on them, weird I thought to myself. I then performed a Greg Louganis-esque half gainer off the bomb, pulled my space balloon parachute and was able to remote my Cobra in to pick me up. All in a days work as a USMC reserve sergeant!
