Kavanaugh Confirmation

Anyone remember when K tore into the Dem for inferring he and a female friend had been sexually involved? How he told them to stop treating her like that, that they had no reason to soil her name? He came across looking like a chivalrous knight and the Dem like a neanderthal. I can't imagine the Dems suffering a more bitter loss than today. Hopefully the Rs learn what it feels like to call the Dems on their bluff and punch the bully.

I try so hard to dislike you.

Just saw highlights of Lindsay Graham. Ho lee crap!

He vocalized the frustration most of the country feels about politicians in general. I'm a fan.
In football terms, Graham was the equivalent of the backup qb coming in when his team was down 24-3 in the 4th quarter. He changed the momentum of the hearing, and scored the first TD on his own.

turned the worm. He single handedly got the rest of the school yard to kick the bullies' off school property.

I honestly thought, Do they want a mass exodus form the Democratic Party??

I know brother..it is difficult to keep up. The DNC will probably either hijack the name or destroy the traditional DNC platform and become openly Socialist as they are even already proclaiming.

So who in here does not affiliate themselves with Republicans or democrats ?

I ask because I want to see what the general reaction is from the non party voters.

As an I, democrats lost this one badly. Rs made a great move getting a professional to ask on their behalf. it was informative, nonpartisan and the most productive line of questioning throughout the entire day. While in session 1 the Rs had great questions asked on their behalf, the Ds decided to grandstand and took very little effort to look into the credibility of the allegations. Why? Shouldnt they be motivated to have all information in a fair manner to make the best decision for this country?

Session 2... the gloves came off for the Rs and they decided to grandstand. In this moment, it would have benefitted the Ds to have the prosecutor or their own council ask the equivalent quality questions but instead they kept politicizing and pounded the table with a red herring instead of actually attempting to investigate. One even admitted political differences influenced his opinion on the credibility of BK.

I think the Ds looked swampish today. Again this is as an I.

Anyone else?

Channel surfing between the usual MSM crap. Only clips I've seen of Kavanaugh the past 30 minutes is him saying he likes beer, drank beer with friends, and sometimes had too many.

You can guess what they're showing of Ford.

Love that MSM!

I have no respect for either. I am an I.

The Rs trounced the Dems today.

I'm an L but would be lying if I said I didn't lean more to R and away from D.

That said, I'm an equal opportunity applier of presumption of innocence. So I saw (or reviewed) nothing today that pushed the balance in the accusers favor.
