Yes he did.
He said the whole thing is untrue and a scam by the Dems.
Well been reading here not logged in on the desktop while watching on the phone.
I’m glad the senators took over the questioning. I think K handled his testimony very well and showed a very human side. He made no real trip ups. D’s kept trying to get him to ask for a stoppage and FBI investigation. That will be spun into him trying to avoid more scrutiny. Grassley had his back on that though.
I don’t see how it doesn’t just go down party lines, maybe flip Manchin or another red state D.
Have to believe he will get confirmed now though. And what a damn fiasco.
What does that have to do with the best evidence we have not including her friend not even placing Kavanaugh at this party? Much less that something did or may have happened at this party regarding him and her friend.
No the FBI has no real jurisdiction to investigate, they have no real power without jurisdiction. Can they take cooperating witness statements, sure, but the committee can do that too as well, you're at the end of the process.
One R had courage which swung the winds of change, then the cowards stepped up to let their hair blow beautifully in the breeze. She went through a few rounds then Lindsay Graham rocked the Mic and everybody followed suit. Somewhere they decided to take over the role of bringing the heat from Kavanaugh.
I'm able to see your point. So where is the harm, as I have asked ,to say "sure, the FBI should investigate"?
Well, there is no harm in the committee investigating, which is what this process is. But no the FBI won't be investigating, but they can take statements.... of course, all those statements can or could have been taken by the committee including the democrats on the committee. Not sure what your point is, this is the investigation.
