Kavanaugh Confirmation

Opinions vary, I'm not gonna change anyone's mind on this, and I'm not certain one way or another.
I was willing to give Ford the benefit of the doubt until she started dictating who would question her, when it would happen, who went first, raising the bar at every turn. All that was a delay to allow others to come up with their stories. All stories with zero substance, no way to prove one way or another.

You seem like a reasonable person, GV vouches for you so that says something, but this is nothing but a new low from the democrats. Just when I think they can't go any lower they say "Hold my beer".

Im afraid Ford stopped calling the shots a long time ago.

I'm getting sick of this whole thing. Maybe Trump should retract K, nominate a moderate woman, and call it a day?

Btw, if what this third accuser says is true, there are dozens if not hundreds of people are who are accomplices to gang rape.

Flake may be in doubt

Coupled with Collins and Merkowski’s vote up in the air, I don’t see how K gets through. Has Joe Manchin made any statements on his vote?

Will be interesting to see who the WH picks if K steps down. If it’s someone clearly more hostile towards Roe v Wade, it’s gonna be interesting.

No doubt. I agree that both sides engage in political chicanery. But here lately, I've watched as Democrats have sank lower and lower and then tried to justify it. I fully expect the Republicans will catch on and sink to new levels as well. Meanwhile, the American people will suffer as the two parties try to undercut each other.
Seems like this type of hyper-partisanship really got going under W and has gotten progressively worse through both Obama's and Trump's admins. This isn't the bottom yet.
It doesn't help matters either that it is no longer just friendly policy and philosophical disagreements, but fundamental, personal hatred toward Obama and now Trump.

Got to get out of committee first. Flake's on the committee (I think). Without Flake, does GOP have the votes?
