Kavanaugh Confirmation

Coupled with Collins and Merkowski’s vote up in the air, I don’t see how K gets through. Has Joe Manchin made any statements on his vote?

Will be interesting to see who the WH picks if K steps down. If it’s someone clearly more hostile towards Roe v Wade, it’s gonna be interesting.
Whoever is next on Trump's list approved by the Federalist Society during the 2016 Republican primary.

This has Veritas written all over it

I was reading an article where a person researched false reports of sex crimes. Generally, where a report is false, it is outlandish. Doesn't follow that an outlandish report is false, but it does give you some reason to question it a bit more.

Project Veritas is run by a conservative guy who goes undercover and tries to record democrats or people in government making embarrassing or damning statements.
He tried to punk WaPo by sending them a fake Roy Moore accuser and WaPo busted him.
Ahh thats the guy who just outed those federal employees..lol. This would be funny..and dumb..at the same time.

I was willing to give Ford the benefit of the doubt until she started dictating who would question her, when it would happen, who went first, raising the bar at every turn. All that was a delay to allow others to come up with their stories. All stories with zero substance, no way to prove one way or another.

You seem like a reasonable person, GV vouches for you so that says something, but this is nothing but a new low from the democrats. Just when I think they can't go any lower they say "Hold my beer".

If people didn't disagree, VNPF wouldn't be so compelling. Everyone talks a bit of sh|t, some more than others, but being a political forum the lines are fairly predictable.

It hasn't been so long ago that I was sucked into this place, and as pointless as it may be to argue points of view, it's stimulating.

I'll similarly vouch foe GV, not that I need to. He seems reasonable enough, in this chaotic mess.

Fill me in..what is that?
A super conservative organization whose practices usually include hidden cameras sting type scenarios that are then heavily edited. If I remember correctly they were behind the planned parenthood stuff a few years back, and tried to plant a fake Roy Moore victim this past year and the Washington post caught on to it.

Yep. Here's the story on WaPo busting him: A woman approached The Post with dramatic — and false — tale about Roy Moore. She appears to be part of undercover sting operation.

Not my argument at all. I've previously stated that I won't comment on the veracity of anyone's claim. What I will state is the obvious.... it's clear Democrats sat on the first accusation until it was politically adventageous to leak it.
Pretty much. Maybe there's nothing to it, maybe there's some truth, but it appears the strategy all along was to drop this right before the vote and delay as much as possible to past mid terms.

If Feinstein released this when she claimed to have received it, 1: There probably would have been time for a thorough investigation and vote. 2: Trump may have decided it's not worth it, and named another candidate leaving plenty of time for checks, hearings, and a vote.

Releasing it when she did sealed the deal for me that there was no honest intention here on the part of the Democrats. This has been a coordinated stall from the start. Now they have at least one thing they can try to motivate their base with: vote D or else Trump gets another SC pick shoe in.
