Kavanaugh Confirmation

This is sickening to watch happen. I've never seen such overt character assassination in my life. It's unconscionable that 3 accusers just happened to all converge at the end of the confirmation process.
Been that way for better part of two weeks now. Obstruct obstruct obstruct... at whatever cost to Kavanaugh and his family.

So if I tell 10 people that I was abducted by aliens, I can then claim that 10 people "corroborate" my alien abduction story?

Well, the Republicans have been calling this a smear campaign. The fact that she named him six years ago would make this less likely.

Honestly, it's the only thing supporting her story. If this weren't part of the story, the vote would have occurred by now and K would be on the bench.

Uh huh. And nobody, not even the champion of all things woman, DiFe said anything even though she knew about it in July. Nothing to see there counselor

Is it? So, you think there couldn't be those who were afraid to step up before Ford decided to?

It's not like Kavanaugh has been the nomination for an eternity. Not plausible that people that knew he was not the person he was trying to portray himself, and found the courage to speak out?

It's a big deal to put yourself in the spotlight of a SCOTUS nomination. The confirmation process should allow for these testimonies, I'm guessing this third accuser might make that possible.

That's what has been said and yet, no one has seen these therapist notes to know if that is even true. Same with the polygraph, no one has seen the results or the questions that were asked during it.

Several people have said she told them including his name as early as 2012 and since then.

Are they lying? Who knows.

Did she tell them because she believes it but is mistaken? Who knows.

Did it really happen? Who knows.

However, it does lend credibility to her statement.

If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck.... it's a political dirty trick.

There's a timeline that's been in place for weeks. The Democrats knew that and kept these allegations in their back pocket. Everybody with a shred of intellectual honesty knows it.

Again, the sad part is that there's a slight possibility there's something to the allegations, but Democrats have made it impossible to know based on their politics. They just want to delay, and they'll do it to the next nominee too.

You say conspiracy from the beginning?

You do realize that Mitt Romney had picked Kavanaugh as a potential supreme court nominee in 2012. This would explain why she was talking about him then and why she's talking about him now.

I actually think Ford is doing all of this in good faith. It would be a very brave thing to testify before the Senate Judiciary Committee, despite Democrats giving her an out.

It really is the Dems who have made this so unbelievably partisan.

I've seen where his name was mentioned recently, but not in 2012. Maybe I missed it.
