Political parties in general are dangerous to the Republic because they divide the nation rather than unite it. Still, the actions of the Dems in this matter have sank lower than normal.

So you admit this is all political maneuvering and not in the slightest aimed at getting to the truth? Dems want the optics of old white men badgering this (supposedly) poor female victim.

It's sad that you see this as acceptable behavior. At what point do you put your politics aside and let your morals guide you? Since the beginning, both the alleged victim and the Democratic party have played this as a game. Her willingness to turn this into a political circus makes me question just how traumatized Dr. Ford could be? Meanwhile, Kavanaugh is left twisting in the wind. He has been accused of a heinous activity and presumed guilty in the MSM. He deserves for this to be resolved.

So to be clear, you give credence to the lady who came forward about there being "rumors" of this back then, but totally dismiss the lady(described as a life long friend) that Ford identifies as being there? Makes sense.

So far, 4 named "witnesses" by the accuser have denied knowing anything about alleged assault.

So what exactly is going to be proved here based on what we know now?

Those who were already opposed to the nomination will believe her based only on what she has said.

Those who were already for the nomination will not believe her.

Anyone who is not biased has got to look at this and the way it was handled by Feinstein and come to their own conclusions.

What a sh1t show.

I have seen dishonesty and manipulation of the base in the past on both sides. However, I have only seen one side acted totally deranged. This includes, but is not limited to, screaming, crying, and getting removed from hearings, etc.

Saying Obama is a Muslim from Kenya? Sandy Hook being staged? A child sex ring in a pizza shop? Portraying Obama as a monkey and/or with a noose around his neck? Accelerating a car into a crowd of people in Charlottesville? Yeah, you see what you want to see. Plenty of people from both parties act “deranged.”

He was a Muslim who claimed to be from Kenya at one point. He lost his religion, and then changed his Kenya story to run for President.

Give it a rest cowboy. The Democrats want the GOP senators on the judiciary to do the questioning because they're the ones that are voting. Is it helpful to the Dems that they don't know how to tread around this issue? Yes. But it's also a fair representation of what you're electing when you have a bunch of GOP guys who are out of touch with how many in the nation view the issue and just want to push through with this and get the vote done.

There's no special reason (other than optics) to have a female lawyer doing the questioning. We're not dealing with some esoteric scientific inquiry here.
