Think of what's happened in the last several days - plenty of twists and turns but at least the D side is on the defensive now. Bluff was called.

If the Dem's want to gain control of the situation again they should convince Ford to request her own personal interview with the FBI as a precursor to an investigation.

I agree with that. She will get nowhere by relying on the Senate to accommodate her requests. She's pretty much locked into one option,.as it stands.

No she has lots of options , she needs to start picking one is what I think the senate is telling her and her lawyers .

They have offered to hear her in open session, or private , she can either come to Washington or they will fly to Cali to meet her .

Yes that’s what she has been told. The hearing will happen on Monday whether she shows up or not. And what’s wrong with that? She said she wanted to testify, so Chairman Grassley has invited her to do so, either privately or publicly.

Again, is that a distinction with a difference? What's the relevance? Midterms are still a month and a half off. What's an additional 3-5 days for the FBI to talk to the four or five relevant people?

It’s imperative that sexual assault/rape be taken seriously, but it’s equally important that false allegations be swiftly quelled. Either bring it or STHU.

Kavanaugh will be voted in. At some point, a case similar to this may come across the bench. Wonder how he’ll rule? I relish in him getting the last laugh, if he’s given the opportunity.

I despise liars and liberals alike, but lying liberals are repulsive.

Well according to Ford’s attorneys, an investigation that lasted 3-5 days wouldn’t be legitimate.
