Isn’t that why she should testify? Which was my whole point. Also, do rapists and murders always admit their crimes? Just because he denied it, doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. Just because she said it happened, doesn’t mean it happened.

It’s also telling that his close friend and witness is refusing to testify under oath, which is interesting.

What's going to change with formal testimony?

My guess as to the reason she's delaying or refusing to testify is that she doesn't want to face possible perjuring herself. Or looking like a complete fool.

I saw your prior post. I basically agree. The accusation has been made and she should answer to the veracity of it. And Kavanaugh should have an opportunity to answer and address his accuser. No issue at all with that. But I have every issue with Dims using this accusation as a means to ursurp the nomination timeline. Get her ass to DC and answer or the committee moves the hell on. She has had plenty of time to prepare and has even done so already! She took a damn polygraph without any basis of accusation she had to prove anything at that time! THATS where we are coming from.

Anyone think the MD state police will announce an investigation soon? It would be in their jurisdiction and someone posted earlier that there is no SOL on sexual assault in MD.

That's not it. He has noting to gain but much to lose. You can bet his name would be dragged through the mud by the DEMs. That's what they do and the Media will play right along like they always do.

She subjected herself to judgment in the way she handled (or allowed it to be handled) the accusation.

If her story only includes 2 guys now, they have both come out and said they have no idea about what she's talking about. She's just going down the line saying, but you remember this, right, nope. Odds are just as good or better that he didn't.

The way this came to light is 100% a Dem ploy to sling mud on the guy at the 11th hour. Otherwise why the polygraph in August?
