Not going to happen, the Director of the FBI's first and foremost worry is covering his own ass so he keeps his job when the presidency changes hands.

Im sure they could very easily since Busch looked into Putin’s eyes and saw his soul but they don’t want to drag them down they don’t want to run out of people to go to funerals

There's 2K+ posts in this thread so I'm not sure if this has been answered; has anyone at the top end of this thing come out and categorically stated that "investigating" this supposed incident is/is not within the FBI's purview?

The problem IMHO is with the word "investigation". The accuser's team seems to think of it as working as an LE investigation. As I understand it the FBI's role with a nominee is to conduct a background check. So, they could collect interviews (Ford, Kavanaugh and maybe Judge) (though it's not clear at this point Ford would talk to the FBI and be subjected to their questioning) but I'm not sure what else they could do given the lack of witnesses. The time and place of the alleged incident are unknown.

Compare to the Anita Hill scenario where there was a long work history between Hill and Thomas along with countless employees who would have witnessed their interactions along with documentation (that I'm sure had already been scoured for indications of issues).

Why not just talk to the committee?

Another one of the guys that Ford said was at the party has come out and denied it.

“One of the other two guys that Ford identified as being present at the party comes forward. He says he has "no knowledge of the party in question; nor do I have any knowledge of the allegations of improper conduct she has leveled against Brett Kavanaugh"

The Dems can say the reason that Trump and the GOP want to move forward without it is to prevent corroboration from being discovered.

No, it came out in July. In early August your client took a polygraph in preparation to defend her story.

To do a polygraph in August is a complete set up. Also polygraph test doesn't confirm if someone is lying. The polygraph test is bull crap
