Hopefully they can make it to next week. I still have a sinking feeling that a corroborative witness or another accuser is going to come forward late this week or over the weekend.

You don’t have them investigate things that aren’t in their jurisdiction? Why not have the ATF do it? Or the CIA? As far as the claim it would be independent: Haven’t both sides claimed the FBI have ****ed their side over political reasons in the last two years? She needs to testify. Otherwise move on.

This is so unbelievably stupid. How can the FBI investigate anything when Ford doesn't have a time, place, or even year of when the events occurred she's accusing K of? Furthermore, the FBI doesn't investigate local state crimes. They only investigate federal crimes. Sexual assault is not a federal crime.

It goes back to her lawyer saying it's not her (the accuser) job to corroborate her own story.

Regardless of what her lawyer says, it IS her responsibility to provide details to aid the investigation. For example, each of the Roy Moore accusers had a time and place when each sexual assault occurred and had multiple witnesses to back it up.

Conservatives that trash Corker are the worst.

Most of the time when he breaks with or chides the rest of the party it’s based on, at the very least, a desire to appear as if he hasn’t sold out his morals to beat the democrats. It’s almost always common sense stuff but too many people are caught up in partisan bickering to understand constructive criticism and think every disagreement needs to be met with hostility.

Corker generally tries to advocate for the party to be better, do the morally correct thing, do things for the right reasons, or in the right way. When everybody else invariably goes a different way, he usually gets on board because he knows that’s the best thing he can do for Tennessee.

I don’t understand how a true conservative Tennessean can possibly be against any of that.

We’re gonna get stuck with a Democrat or a lunatic next cycle because Bob Corker got tired of selling out his morals when he couldn’t convince the rest of his party to simply be better.

There are already rumblings of more corroborating witnesses who'll say she told them of the event long ago.
