I get the feeling that she truly believes that she is not lying and is telling the truth. In her case people pushing for this will believe her (I'd say they would still believe her even if she came out and said she lied). They will let her go on her merry way because hey she did what they needed her needed to do.

Now everything Kavanaugh said to the committee will be looked at under a microscope and I am sure some of them will be watching playbacks of their hearing along with other public statements he's made like Pruitt looking at game film. They will be intently looking at anything to prove he is partial to a party and untrustworthy. They will leak these clips to the media and let them have an absolute hey day to sway the public. Their hopes is that he will lynch himself right in front of them.

And Ford will be praised as a hero, collect her $350k from the Go Fund Me set up for her, go on a television tour including spots on The View, write a book called The Dirty Secrets of 1982 the Real Kavanaugh Story, go back on The View to sell her book and lightly slide out of fame into doing only speaking engagements.

It's going to show to little girls all over America that all you gotta do is stand up with a baseless (it may be lie but if you truly believe it) accusation and you will be set.

Perjury or not I’ve had a sinking feeling ever since Flake screwed the Republican pooch and took Collins and Murkowski along With him, that Kavanaugh is finished. It’s going to be a TKO for the Dems, you watch.

I am still unsure what to believe happened.

I do think the extremely partisan claims by K and the GOP Senators, particularly Graham, were unwise and unhelpful.

I also think the brief FBI investigation does help repair their image, somewhat.

This is off topic but I definitely do not like Clemson. Not just because they picked off instate players and top UT recruits because the whole thing about negative recruiting around Dabo and he pulling the Mark Richt and Houston Nutt routine. That shouldn't bother me as I love when people openly profess to Christ but I don't think it should be used as a recruiting tool because many christians don't try to use it as part of a sales pitch.

The only image problems are with the Dems , from what is a political scam , and the Rs caving once again to pressure from the left . The FBI will only find what is already there and then we get to see the next political move from the left and how “ women wont come forward and talk to the FBI because ... white male dominated organization that scares them into silence “ . That’s my guess .

The only thing that happened is people forgot that guilt had to be proven, not innocence. It is the Democrat ideal firmly on display. As a lawyer, you should be ashamed, but I know you aren't

It was the elephant in the room. No one would have said it. The metoo movement is the ultimate grenade. Id like to see women actually stand up and say ford is full of s***. Instead, they coddled her and did not ask what should have been asked. DiFi can kick sand. By giving this womens accusations any credence they harmed both men and women.

Which ones?

If you are referring to Feinstein not disclosing earlier an explanation was given by Ford that makes sense.

If you think Feinstein leaked it despite her request for anonymity, what is your proof of that?

If you mean the Dems' comments that things were being rushed through, that was correct. You might not like it, but true.

Claiming Ford is a Dem operative with no proof is just really obnoxious.
