Sprained my freaking knee SWIMMING (WTF?)..took 3 months to get better..and less than a week ago pulled my left trapezius..(dont ever do that...you cant use your upper body to do anything) and had to get steroid shots in my back, shoulder, neck, and clavicle. Now Im high off muscle relaxers and my 3 day supply of percosets (thanks junkies!) which I have to keep getting refilled.

Getting old sucks.

You're a pilot, right? Back in the day, the last few years before I stepped out of the corporate life, I was traveling TOO much. One memorable start-up in Saudi Arabia had me staying in a "contractor's camp" at a refinery for several weeks which featured as lodging, several dozen duplex trailers where each half was about 10' x 12' including a tiny bed and a dinky bathroom. On another one in China it was a pretty nice hotel but in the refinery at times I was without a translator... and worked a few nights finding myself the only one, out of about 20 persons in the control room, not napping the night away... that's about when I decided I'd had enough.

I think Kavanaugh was doing better before he invoked the 2016 election and the Clintons. That made him sound more like a partisan politician than a judge. We have no indication at this point that Ford's accusations are driven by a political agenda. I also think his asking Klobuchar if she had ever passed out drunk was just plain arrogant and surprising to hear from a judge. The purpose of the hearing was to determine his behavior - not hers.

I don’t hate Clemson . now if you had said OSU and PSU both lost at the same time I’d be happy but I can’t think of a way to make that happen .

Actually, no I don't. I don't find it interesting at all this year because the media has already crowned Bama again, so whats the point.

I have a sneaky feeling that if anyone is going to be slapped with perjury it sure ain't gonna be Ford.

I get the feeling that she truly believes that she is not lying and is telling the truth. In her case people pushing for this will believe her (I'd say they would still believe her even if she came out and said she lied). They will let her go on her merry way because hey she did what they needed her needed to do.

Now everything Kavanaugh said to the committee will be looked at under a microscope and I am sure some of them will be watching playbacks of their hearing along with other public statements he's made like Pruitt looking at game film. They will be intently looking at anything to prove he is partial to a party and untrustworthy. They will leak these clips to the media and let them have an absolute hey day to sway the public. Their hopes is that he will lynch himself right in front of them.

And Ford will be praised as a hero, collect her $350k from the Go Fund Me set up for her, go on a television tour including spots on The View, write a book called The Dirty Secrets of 1982 the Real Kavanaugh Story, go back on The View to sell her book and lightly slide out of fame into doing only speaking engagements.

It's going to show to little girls all over America that all you gotta do is stand up with a baseless (it may be lie but if you truly believe it) accusation and you will be set.
