Kavanaugh Confirmation

Po

Seems like since the incident happened so long ago, the statutes of limitations wouldn't allow for prosecution. If the FBI couldn't charge a crime, there wouldn't be any point in performing an investigation.

From the NYT article it sounds like they said "thanks for sharing, we'll put it in the file".

Hey @lawgator1

Would you like to discuss the amount of documents turned over compared to other nominations?

Not a meaningful comparison. It's a question of whether the relevant ones were. You could sue IBM and they could give you billions of documents ... that don't answer the relevant questions.

One might consider something in the nearly half million documents turned over would have had something of substance?

This is looking worse and worse. Reporting that while the official letter came a couple days ago, Feinstein knew about this in July. Curious she never pursued it either in confirmation questioning or written questions.

Will be interesting if we ever find out if Feinstein requested a letter be sent so she could make this move.

Also of interest is why this would be sent to the FBI for "investigation" when it should be a local law enforcement issue (unless there is some across state lines issue or something else that raises the alleged incident to a federal crime).

Sure looks like this is a full on smear.

FBI gets headlines. Everyone knows the MSM will run anything to that may help the democrats.

Sounds like an attempt to just try to delay a vote till after midterms.

From The Guardian

"According to the source, Kavanaugh and a male friend had locked her in a room against her will, making her feel threatened, but she was able to get out of the room. "

No effin' way. If this is it I'm hella pissed I ever gave Feinstein the benefit of the doubt and Durbin can go F himself.

That is what Feinstein does. She releases Classified Info, hires Chinese Spies to drive her around, proclaim fake gun control numbers while the sits on her millions laughing all the way to the bank. She is one of the biggest hypocrites in the Senate.

Boys being boys. A big nothing burger. Of course today's DEMs need safe spaces now and probably think that is just a horrific act.
