How so.. put 10-11 in the pro's this year

And when Barnett outperforms all them then what?

When Sutton outperforms no ball skills having Marlon Humphrey then what?

Bama's best pros are WRs. I didn't like Cooper coming out but he's good and Julio is the best skill player in the league.

If you count numbers then Bama wins the "who puts more guys in the NFL" argument. That doesn't seem to be what this kid said. He seems to be saying that UT wasn't before and that was a strike against the Vols. Now that strike is gone.

Agree. CBs haven't lived up to the hype, and their DL guys haven't lived up to the hype in the league so far outside of Dareus, IMO. We will have to wait and see on the rookies this year and the guys drafted this month. But, I will say Clinton-Dix and Collins are pretty darn good. Their S production is probably 2nd to WR.

That's pretty much what I took it to mean.

It may not get Davis into the fold, but it speaks volumes that he is willing to look again.

Seems like Bama is becoming known for delivering damaged goods to the NFL level on defense. They get drafted but not exactly setting world on fire when they get there

Their safety production is dead if you mention Eric Berry. 😎😎😎😎 One name crushes all that talk. 😂😂😂😂😂

On a completely unrelated to the draft talk note, can we get a thread title clean up. My OCD doesn't like it at all haha.

I'd try and sell him on the following:

- Barnetts success
- Talented young QBs, receivers and OL coming in. Playing with leads = more pining the ears back and attacking opponents QBs
- Brady Hokes success getting DL to the league
- History of Bamas defenders basically peaking in college
- Likelihood of Saban retiring before this kid graduates or goes on to the league.
- Lawless, Emerson, Litaker. Be a part of what's being built here.

You think there is any chance to flip him?

Gonna be very hard , what Saban wants he gets. Consistrntly putting guys off the DL also aids him in the process. He seemed very happy about Bama. But he spent time talling to voth Littaker and Emerson so that couldn't do anything but help UT.

Except Trey Smith who supposedly grew up a Bama fan. Now does Davis have a sister we can employ?

You sell what you got. That's what we got. Go hard on the Barnett angle and all the other DLs Hoke has put in the league.

Yep. Hoke has a lot of DL's in the NFL. Oh wait....what? Hoke didn't coach Barnett though? No, you're right. Yeah...that guy is still here too.

And the majority of Bama/Saban players are pretty awful as Pros. Does that not matter? Being completely worn into the ground by the time you can turn pro? Outside a few great ones most of them
Are terrible.
