And the majority of Bama/Saban players are pretty awful as Pros. Does that not matter? Being completely worn into the ground by the time you can turn pro? Outside a few great ones most of them
Are terrible.

they have dominated the draft though is all that matters to the kids. you all are over thinking things. Bama is a draft factory regardless of what guys do in the pros. Much like the UT days back in the 90s. Its all about going to the place that produces Pro talent and gets the most exposure. Trust me I hear it from these kids all day. You know who else is getting that same buzz Clemson and tOSU. We have to catch up or get left behind. Player development is key in recruiting. All the bad talk of Dobbs being under developed is not a good thing either. When guys like Hue Jackson and Todd Haley say when we talked to the kid and showed him this or that and he did it with ease and we could see he wasn't taught that in college it scares future qbs away. Bringing in Canales will help that issue 10 fold, but the climate is definitely better right now than it was prior to this draft.

Yeah those three schools are doing it on the regular. Ohio State is having a run like crazy and will continue it with DBs and D-linemen this year. Also have a LB I think will go early. Clemson D-line will produce a couple first rounders. We've got guys with potential to be special but they've got to produce. Taylor is my No.1 potential wise coming up on our D-line.

I listened to an interview with D Watson where he said pro coaches were concerned about his lack of reading a defense. He simply said he was a quick learner. Urban hasn't developed a single QB. Dobbs is a poor example as any kid playing a spread offense will struggle if they don't have a year or two to develop in pros.

What positions other than QB have pro scouts been critical of UT coaches? Seems to me they've been complimenting our coaches.

Nick wears his players out before they get to the NFL both Allen and Foster had shoulder problems and dropped in the draft maybe some of these kids will see they can get to the NFL without nicks help.

Take it down a level chief. It's making fun of the people that think the only reason we got him was because of his sister.

I have no idea what you meant, only what you said. I agree with what you meant according to your second post. It is a silly notion, but one held by lots of folks on here.

What's do you think this team's gonna do this year?

Yep pros will trash any spread QB about the system

They criticized Peyton because of the shotgun which is an element of the spread.

This is way different. A spread QB doesn't have many progressions. They have about 3 reads. They aren't taught to read the safety. This spells doom in NFL until massive training takes place. This is why spread QB's ride the pine for years typically.

I'm sure there is a clause in there somewhere about him retiring. Highly doubt that wasn't added. But I do agree that his players are more used up before the NFL than players from other teams. I've sat back on my prediction of how long he will continue to coach, but keep seeing the same VN peeps say "he has to be retiring soon within the next year or two". But I will start to chime in on this. I give him another few years. 70 years old tops. JMO, of course.
