think 247 bumps him to a 5 star tomorrow? we need some help in the rankings over there... we've slipped to 6th I think.

who cares? lol trying to act like you don't care. clearly it won't affect how this class plays on the field but the perception is that a top 5 class is better than a top 10 and a top 10 is better than a top 15 and so on.

So yes, I do hope this team finishes ranked in the top 5 of every service because it would only help better the perception that TN is on the rise and then all they have to do is back it up on the field.

you know what helps the perception UT is back...
35 new stud football players who help get us to 9-10 wins next year... after Feb 10th,no one will remember who was 2nd-10th,but they'll remember UT beating someones butt for 4 qtrs...

True no one remembers 2-10, but recruiting is the game within the game that we all love and everyone follows.... so that's perception, wins hopefully are the reality. These aren't arbitrary rankings either, for the most part they represent a player that is better than another player. Don't know about you, but I want the better players.

I'm not saying I want the 50th ranked class...I want all of them to turn into the best football players in the country...but as far as perception
that UT is back,recruiting rankings isn't where it's at... its a start though...

a big win goes a lot farther...
