The Steelers drafted 4 guys I had rated as 1st round picks before the draft. This isn't me totting their horn now after the draft. I was high on these 4 guys before the draft.
JuJu Smith-Schuster was my #2 ranked WR that I compared to Dez Bryant. Cam Sutton was my #1 ranked CB that I compared to Darrelle Revis. James Conner was my #2 ranked RB that I compared to Franco Harris. And obviously Josh Dobbs was my #1 ranked QB that I compared to Randall Cunningham.
If a team landed Randall Cunningham, Franco Harris, Darrelle Revis, and Dez Bryant in the same draft class, it would be legendary. That is what the Steelers potentially have done. Incredible situation for Dobbs to have not only early success but some incredible long-term success as well.
He also said tabor wouldn't get drafted1. You had Smith the #2 WR....he was the 6th
2. You had Sutton the #1 CB.....he was the 14th
3. You had Conner the #2 RB (even though you created a thread saying he was the best).......he was the 8th
4. You had Josh the #1 QB.....he was the 7th.
Dude, you're really, really bad at this draft projection stuff. Do something else.

Those were not projections of draft slots. Those were projections of how I rated them for NFL success. Tom Brady was the 7th QB taken in the 2000 draft. Are the 6 guys ahead of him better simply because they were drafted earlier?
These NFL GMs miss all the time. I trust my draft evaluations over their draft evaluations.
(1) JuJu Smith-Schuster will be the 2nd or 3rd best WR from this draft (Corey Davis is clearly the best and Zay Jones is right there with JuJu).
(2) Cam Sutton will be the best CB from this draft by a wide margin.
(3) James Conner will be the best or second best RB from this draft (him and Alvin Kamara are neck and neck eventhough they are very different backs).
(4) Josh Dobbs will the best QB from this class by a wide margin as well.
Pittsburgh Steelers hit it outta the park this year. LEGENDARY DRAFT CLASS.
Nah. I've been high on Tabor this entire draft process. I had him rated as a late 1st rounder even with the slow 40.
You might be thinking about last year. At this time last year I was anti-Tabor cause I felt he was getting overrated. Remember that at this time last year people were saying he would be a top 10 pick and the first CB taken. I said hold up, he ran slow at the Opening and this lack of speed was an impediment to getting draft that early.
I love Tabor's instincts and competitiveness though. I think he'll be a really good player in the NFL. Potential pro-bowler.

I am thinking he will be there in the 3rd round for the Saints or Redskins, which are both better fits for his skill set anyway.
Would love to see him go to the Steelers, though, if he lasts that long.
These are all situations which would allow him some development time with strong offensive coaching.
Gotta give credit where due. D4H deserves his victory lap. Many had given up hope. He called it.
Called what? He said over and over and over that Dobbs was headed to The Chargers at 38. Then he said McShay said he was a likely to sneak into the 1st round. He also talked about him going to the Chiefs. And he said there was no way in hell Dobbs would last til the 4th rd.
Why in God's name should the guy take a victory lap for saying what literally everybody else has been saying about Pitt being a good landing spot for Dobbs? To the contrary, he should be tucking his head in shame and "not showing his face" on VN for good while.
