Of course you don't care because you were 100% wrong.
But don't worry, we'll keep reminding you.
Hopefully you'll also remind me when he's holding up the Lombardi Trophy next year as a superbowl winning QB.
Yeah I said it. If Josh gets a chance he will lead Pittsburgh to a superbowl as soon as next year.
The Steelers has to strengthen their OL or it won't matter who's at QB. Ben is one of the few that can take a monster hit and get back up for the next play.
Kiss of Death for the Steelers.
And you accused someone else of waffling..
So which is it, is he going to lead the Steelers to the Super Bowl next year or not. Don't give me the weak "If he gets a chance" to cover your ass, put up or shut up.
I can't predict injuries. For all we know Big Ben stays super healthy next year and Josh never sees any regular season action.
What I can predict is that if Josh gets a chance to start multiple games cause Big Ben went down he will lead the Steelers to the super bowl. He'll be that good.
The Steelers drafted 4 guys I had rated as 1st round picks before the draft. This isn't me totting their horn now after the draft. I was high on these 4 guys before the draft.
JuJu Smith-Schuster was my #2 ranked WR that I compared to Dez Bryant. Cam Sutton was my #1 ranked CB that I compared to Darrelle Revis. James Conner was my #2 ranked RB that I compared to Franco Harris. And obviously Josh Dobbs was my #1 ranked QB that I compared to Randall Cunningham.
If a team landed Randall Cunningham, Franco Harris, Darrelle Revis, and Dez Bryant in the same draft class, it would be legendary. That is what the Steelers potentially have done. Incredible situation for Dobbs to have not only early success but some incredible long-term success as well.
Two all pro starters in Pouncey and Decastro.
Second in the NFL in 2016 giving up only 21 sacks during the season (1.3 per game).
Ranked consistently as a top 5 unit in the league.

Big Ben always gets hurt. He's just tough so he comes back soon. He better not miss more than a few snaps next year or Dobbs will take his job.

At the end of the day I could care less about draft slot. This was always about best fit. And nothing is better than where Josh went today. And just look at the rest of the draft the Steelers have put together.
This is a legendary draft haul that will lead them to championships.
