I think you underestimate LF's versatility. He can play at 220 or 240 without losing much speed plus his size, speed, vision, strength could be considered generational. A lot of comparisons are to AP but AP is the complete package and more.

Your argument doesn't hold much weight because almost any RB is the product of their OL production. Give or take a few. You rave about Elliot but the year before McFadden was a +1000 yard rusher and he's only posted one season over that in his entire NFL career. Btw, McFadden was a monster in college and had a lot of potential.

It will be mind blowing if it happens. Going into last season I thought he would be a 6th or 7th round project at best, and after the SCAR game I didn't expect him to even get drafted but he really turned it on late and had an unbelievable Senior Bowl.

I have compared him to Randall Cunningham and he was once touted as the ULTIMATE WEAPON. Maybe Dobbs is the one that lives up to that.

The more tape I watch the more sense I get of a player.

The only thing you saw on LF's Jr tape was a guy who was nicked up all season and only had 129 carries. There were 3 QB's with more carries. In spite of that he still avg 6.5ypc.

When healthy his "tape" is the same damn thing you (and everybody else) saw when he was a So and at the top of your list.

If you want to use last season to question durability that might hold some merit but the rest of it is pure twaddle.

Gotta cut him some slack. He only backed off his Jalen-Hurd-is-a-guaranteed-legend assessment in the past couple of weeks.

I'd much rather Dobbs get into a good situation regardless of what round he's drafted in. At least if it's the Steelers, though, there won't be pressure for him to start immediately with Roethlisberger there, so that's one of the few 1st round situations that might be good for him. Definitely don't want to see him go to a bad team, where he's going to have a terrible O-line, mediocre coaching, and likely throw a bunch of INTs, and get banged up.

Shuler was the 2nd overall pick. Shuler then proceeded to sit out for most of training camp which led him to be so far behind, that he never caught up
