Josh Dobbs (merged)

Remains to be seen. However, D4H claims everyone on the roster is 1st round picks, pro bowlers year one, thus the comment

Was it in 2016, he thought almost everyone except Barnett would be a first rounder? If his predictions were even in the universe of reality, he could be taken halfway serious. But geez, D4H is completely off the rails.

Elaborate

You not watching on Sundays? My guy James Conner had another huge game today.

My 2017 RB rankings are looking GENIUS right now. I had the RB ranked in this order:

1. Alvin Kamara
2. James Conner
3. Joe Mixon
4. Christian McCaffrey

All 4 are dominating this season. Compare that to Leonard Fournette and Dalvin Cook (who everyone else had as the top RBs in the draft). Also don't forget Matt Breida was also dominating this year before he went down with an injury today. Note, RB is the position in football where great players make their biggest impact early on. QBs and WRs have their best years in their late 20s/early 30s while RBs have their best years in their early 20s.

The fact my 2017 RB rankings have turned out so well forecast pretty well for the rest of my rankings.

Connor has not dominated. Good game today, but didn't reach 100 yards combined the last 3 games. There ya go, genius

Stop mixing up my arguments. I never said Barnett wouldn't be a 1st round pick. I said he wasn't a 1st round TALENT because he would not be a star in the NFL. I said he would be a solid starter that would play for 10 years in the NFL. But he would not be a guy who makes multiple Pro Bowl/All-Pro teams. The only Vols from the 2017 draft I said would be multiple time Pro Bowl/All-Pro selections were Josh Dobbs, Alvin Kamara, and Cam Sutton. Alvin has already made the Pro Bowl as a rookie so I'm one outta three thus far with my prediction on that one after one season. In the 2018 draft, I said only 1 former Vol (John Kelly) would be a Pro Bowl/All-Pro level player in the NFL.

So you're wrong about me predicting everyone but Barnett would be a star in the NFL.

Sure buddy. A guy who just joined the Great Jim Brown as the only player in NFL history to accomplish this feat in his team's 5 games isn't dominating. LOL.

17 yards against KC
19 yards against Baltimore

Buddy, that's dominating

Both those games the Steelers went down 2+ TDs early in the 1st quarter and they abandoned the run game. Big Ben threw a million times in both those games trying to bring the team.

Its no surprise that in the 2 games where the Steelers had comfortable leads (Week 1 against Cleveland and Week 5 against Atlanta) the run game was utilized and James Conner dominated.

I think you need to start watching the games rather than just looking at the box score. Maybe then you would understand the CONTEXT of what happened.

I watched, unlike you. Those teams shut the running game down. He wasn't dominating. Can't blame the online. Its the same oline LB has ran behind for the last few years.

Connor is a decent back. Not dominating. You're wrong. You won't admit it.

You think him and Nationdom are the same? I dont know. If so, then he has serious mental issues.

They are the same; he used to use nationdom more to defend his D4H posts and it used to be clockwork. But last season D4H forgot to switch accounts when replying to someone and replied as D4H under nationdom’s account.

He/“both” tries to deny it but reading the exchange it’s 100% clear that is what happened. D4H got sloppy.

You don't watch the games do ya? Can't be. No team in the NFL goes into pure throwing mode from being down two TDs in the first half. This is simply not knowing the game as there is more than enough time to keep the running game as part of the offense. Abandoning the running game comes from seeing like 10 yards in a guys first 7 carries knowing they aren't moving the needle there.

Dobbs does not have the arm to make he NFL throws

LOL. This might be the silliest criticism of Dobbs I've seen to date.

Outside of the freak arms in the league like Josh Allen, Aaron Rodgers, Matt Stafford, and Patrick Mahomes, Dobbs arm is right there with anybody else.

Good news about this is that we're less than a month away from Dobbs coming out party in the NFL. Week 10. Thursday Night Football. Carolina Panthers. That will be the moment you realize how stupid you were for saying this post.

No on-field evidence of it, but you keep trucking it out there bud. And no, trotting out some old college film doesn't count. His arm has to be better than what we saw in the pre-season when you're playing against the starters on D. The one pic6 to the far was begging to be picked.

So you focus on just one play and ignore all his other great throws during the preseason?

Talk about reaching.

Dobbs had a QB rating over 100 in the preseason and led a TD drive almost every chance he gets. I guess when all you got to criticize him for is one play that the DB jumped just goes to show how awesome Dobbs was all preseason.

Pointed it out as evidence .. and it's a pretty damn good piece of evidence too .. and that's far from a reach. A reach is throwing your chips in on a 100 QBR in preseason against guys who at this point in the regular season probably still haven't seen the field. But if you knew anything about QBs, you'd know that.

Tomlin: Ben, we are going to sit you out this game

Ben: why , coach?

Tomlin: I have a sneaky feeling about tonight

It takes more than a strong arm to make NFL throws. Ask guys like Jeff George, Dan McGwire, JaMarcus Russell, Ryan Leaf, Rob Johnson, Daunte Culpepper, Byron Leftwich, Kyle Boller, Vince Young, Akili Smith, and Heath Shuler.
You need arm talent rather than arm strength. Can't live off of fastballs all day every day. Well unless you are Nolan Ryan or Big Unit.
