He looked pretty good with Cut. In fact I thought he would never be an SEC receiver, but was proved wrong in 07.

Makes ya wonder if the season would have been different if Clawson didn't have us throwing the ball 40 times against UCLA. I wonder what would have happened if we started the year off with a win over UCLA? Maybe the CPF would have gotten a raise and extension?

CPF, raise, and extension are never to be used on this board again. lol just messing........but lord forbid if he did. PF even joked about it in his last news conf.

He may have been solid over those particular games...but he was not a good SEC receiver.

For the record...who do we historically play in the last two games of the year?

Its so true though. So much of football is a mental game, and keeping momentum going throughout the season. Look at UF, they turned it up a notch and rode into the NCG with a ton of momentum. UT never got off on the right foot, and it cost us. All we had to do at UCLA was pound the ball up the middle and we would have won. Just crazy to do the what-if situation on this one. Because it has so many possibilities and outcomes, that maybe we wouldn't have had a coaching change.

The last 2 games of that year were against LSU (national champ) and Wisconsin.

he's only partly right
Clawson took us to 115 in Offense
So technically there are 4 OC's that are worse

but he's directionally correct

As do I. He's a fantastic guy who goes out of his way to help someone else. He goes to christian camps and everything. It's a shame that people take an isolated incident and make false accusations about a person's character based on 2 seconds of a person's life.

Nothing that I said had to do with how he was as an athlete, I mentioned him as a person. I was commenting on how people take a comment or a moment in time and get false ideas of how a person is as a human being.
