John Bolton: Swamp Creature

Yes, it was available to him. He didn't technically dodge the draft by running to Canada. But he wasn't exactly willing to put his life on the line for a war he supported. Fine for some inner city kids to go off and die, but not for Mr. Porn Stache.
Well that's no way to talk about your hero

1. Bolton supported the Vietnam war. That entails that he thought it should be fought.
2. Believing that the war should be fought, Bolton could have volunteered or let himself be drafted. He did neither. Instead he took the (admittedly legal) option of joining the national guard, knowing that it would make it highly unlikely for him to go to Vietnam.

So, he effectively thought that the war was justified but that he (despite being patriotic and able-bodied) should not have to fight it. Maybe that's cowardly behavior, maybe it's not. We can disagree on that. But I think we can agree that that behavior is not exactly virtuous.
Yikes

How do you know? He could have spoken, ask bug eyed schiff and polident pelosi why they wouldn't let him speak

What are senate R's so afraid of, then? Call him if he's got nothing. Do you care to wager on whether or not these NY Times/Bolton book quotes are true?

It's like nobody on either side actually cares about the truth.

It's not the job of the Senate to do the House's job for them. The libs in the House wanted to rush it and didn't want to go through the courts, they forfeited their opportunity. I wouldn't be surprised if he said that in the book, I also wouldn't be surprised if the NYT is lying.

Do you want the truth? Or would you rather hide the truth and keep Clintons 2.0 in office?

Wtf. Cool point. Didn't answer the question
Just because Bolton may say it happened does that automatically mean it's true? You bashed him forever but if he turns on the President then he's good now? So I don't know that I would believe him even if he said he was told to do it.
Now, why are you giving the House a pass? They could have called anyone they wanted and passed on it

It would be nice if citizens like you had this same position with the President. We know as a matter of fact that Trump lies all the time

The House did call on Bolton to testify. He declined and said he would only testify pursuant to a subpoena if a court weighed in on the issue which could have dragged on for months or years.

Why didn't the house call him?

This is untrue and if we can't get our impeachment done by Christmas then we will just toss it to the Senate

I don't think he's good. You're rambling instead of answering the question.

Wtf are you talking about giving the house a pass? It's not even relevant. The house sucks. The government sucks in general. Stop trying to distract from the search for truth in this matter

It is relevant that the house didn't think his testimony was important until after the pen ceremony
