JG just can’t play good

This is bottomlessly dumb and no one outside of Peyton fans ever tries to claim it. Have you ever even watched him play? Not this year, where BB and their scouting department dropped the ball and he had the worst WR corps in the league - but any other year. You could even watch specific games, like the greatest comeback in SB history which he led (down 25 in the third quarter), or the year after that when he set the SB record for passing yards in a game, etc.

As I already listed in another thread, most any HOF quarterback you ask these days says without hesitation that Brady is the GOAT. Aikman, Warner, Staubach, Young, Kelly, Elway, etc. all have said it, not to mention HOF players at other positions like Deion Sanders, Ray Lewis, etc.

But of course you know far more than they do. Or maybe you're just a dishonest Peyton homer with no regard for the truth.

Just stupid.

Sorry I hurt your little feelings. And no. I’m honestly not a huge Peyton fan. I’m just realistic about Brady. He’s a great QB. But he’s also a product of the belicheck system. He makes nearly anyone look good. Not sure how you argue that. If you take him out of that system, he’s still good, but not as great as the system makes him look. If I was told I had to pick a QB to build a team with, I’d take Brees or Rogers over him. Not saying he’s a bum. Just giving bekicheck the credit deserved.

I’m about to send you into orbit. This year I’d even take Tannehill over him. Go ahead and take your glycerin pill.

Please list all of the other quarterbacks that Belichick has either won big with himself, or who have gone on to win multiple SBs, or even one, after leaving Belichick. I'll wait.

As a head coach, Belichick has won a whopping one playoff game without Brady - one.

Brees has one SB win, as does Rodgers (you spelled his name wrong). I bet you think Lebron's better than Jordan too, huh? That's another narrative driven by publicists and talking heads as opposed to people who actually know something about the sport.

Your anger is entertaining. And moronic. And a few quick names come to mind. Cassel and garappolo. Argument over. Good talk. In 08 cassell started 15 games. He put up better yardage and QB rating than Brady averaged his first four years with the pats. I won’t look up Jimmy G. Your obviously such a NE fan that I’m sure you saw him play pretty well on the field as well. Cassell went on to be pretty terrible with everyone else with the exception of a good year. Jimmy G now plays in a mediocre offense on a SF team that was leading the way with their defense. But please don’t let these facts get in the way of your fanboy opinion. He’s definitely a QB great. Super Bowls are great. But Tom Brady didn’t carry people on his back to super bowls. Hell Eli has a few SB but I would hardly call him elite. Defenses were great when he was winning. They’ve had great coaching, defense, and supporting casts for him. Not so much this year and look what happened. Other quarterbacks have did as much or more with much less help. Brady had a pool of receiving/rushing talent around him to help for many years. Now all the NE fans are boohooing because Brady doesn’t have 4 offensive studs to throw to. Most teams don’t but have to make it work. Go Titans.

Honestly not much of a BB fan. But I’m definitely not a lebron fan. They play quite differently so it’s hard to compare them. They’re both great. However I did enjoy when athletes didn’t think they were politicians. That alone makes me lean towards MJ. Tannehill owns Brady. I’ll just leave that here. Don’t you have some balls to deflate? Games to illegally tape?

You're great at making unsubstantiated claims with, "evidence," that is anything but; when it comes to actually making a cogent, sound point.

The Cassel argument is far and away the most risible of any that has been made by Peyton homers regarding Brady. See if you can follow here, genius: The Patriots went 18-1 in 2007 with Brady. With the same offensive personnel in 2008 but Cassel as QB, they went 11-5. Go ahead and try to argue that a seven-game dropoff in wins is not significant, or that it doesn't obliterate your argument.

Garropolo has won exactly zero Super Bowls. I would wager all the money you made last year (which is probably a heck of a lot less than I made) that he won't win six, or even three. He has a coach that is regarded by many as one of the handful of best in the NFL.

Eli won two SBs, not, "a few." Nice try on attempting to give him more than he has to support your execrable argument.

No less than Steve Young has commented more than once, as have other HOF quarterbacks, that Brady, over most of his career and not just here and there, has done more with less than any other QB. Peyton for several years had not one but two HOF WRs and a HOF RB, all at the same time, at his disposal; never for one quarter of one game has Brady had that kind of talent. He had two years of Moss, only one of which was Moss still in his prime; he had Gronk; he had a good slot receiver that also makes a lot of drops (led the league in that stat this year). The SB a year ago was the first time that Edelman and Gronk had ever even both played in the same SB - one of them was always hurt in previous seasons.

"Other quarterbacks have did [sic] as much or more with less help." This sentence alone proves how much of a liar you are. The last I checked, no other quarterback has won six Super Bowls, or even five; and I already disproved your laughable, dishonest claim that Brady has had more talent than other quarterbacks, which is as far from the truth as any human being could ever type. Also, it should be, "have done," not, "have did."

Do you beat the wife when you read non Brady loving messages? I never said Brady wasn’t elite. I said without that system he’s not near what he has been. Belicheck has shown he makes players much better than they are. He’s a great coach. Probably the best ever. To suggest he has nothing to do with the success is moronic. He will go down as the goat of coaches. Your putting all your stock in SB wins. Peyton has a super bowl under his belt in which he put up the absolute worst stats in SB history. A great defense got him that one. See how all that works? You telling me Eli is elite since he has a few SB wins? It doesn’t always work that way. Brady is great. No debating that. But these were great teams and coaches that helped him. I mean, he’s no Tannehill.

On another note. Spend some time learning words instead of all your energy trying to put people down who don’t stroke Brady like you do. You should probably learn the definition of “a few” if your going to try and use it in an argument. Good job homer. And PM me. I’ll more than gladly exchange W-2 info with you since your obviously concerned. I’ll put a nice wager on it as well. I’m a gambling man. Not sure what that has to do with Brady..... but since you brought it up. In closing. Brady is a cheater. let that one ruin your day.

I didn't say Belichick had nothing to do with the Patriots' success. Phil Jackson had a little to do with the Bulls winning six straight; that in no way makes Michael Jordan not the greatest basketball player of all time.

It doesn't get any sillier and more indefensible than to tell me to learn words when you can't even complete a sentence without basic grammar errors. "Your" in your ninth sentence above should be, "you're"; same thing in the sixth sentence of your second paragraph. Also, while you're at it, work on reading comprehension: you're the one who trotted Eli out as being elite, not me; I pointed out that he's nowhere near Brady's level, which anyone but a Peyton homer readily acknowledges.

I don't get w-2s because I work for myself. Unless you're a heart surgeon or high-level lawyer, if you're getting a w-2, you're going to feel a little inferior if you see my income.

Actually, you tried to directly correlate SB wins to elite QBs. I simply used Eli as an example to try to get a simpleton to think a bit. Please see nick foles. And I’m not a Peyton homer. He’s definitely another great QB, but I saw him act less than desirable at a benefit once. Nothing terrible, but also not what I expected from a man of his caliber. So you can drop the Peyton homerism nonsense. And yes, while on my phone passing time on a football board you’ll probably encounter some grammatical errors. Don’t let it surprise you if you see more. If your craving beautiful sentences, I’d probably search elsewhere. I haven’t discovered many Shakespeare like posts here. Sorry to disappoint. Oh and I’ll still be waiting on that PM for info swapping. Your lawn mowing business doesn’t scare me.

I just spoke with Brady. He said he’s sorry to end your season on a pic six. He said he’s past his prime and your gonna have to jump on a different bandwagon. He put a Tannehill poster in the mail.

I think we should convene at this thread a year from now and see who looks prescient and who looks foolish. I'll give you a little hint: whether he plays for the Pats next year or another team, Brady will have better weapons than he did this year (which were the worst he has had since he has been in the NFL), and he won't be exiting the playoffs in the first round. That's my prediction.
