JG just can’t play good

I think with his size there is absolutely a chance he'll get injured, it was always their concern with Tua and it'll be the thing with Young to an extent. He's built better than Tua but we won't know if he can handle it until 2 300 lbs SEC dl fall on him.
Both 5'11. One is 208. Other 183.

Theres your out. We are good

Little Tua is closer to 5'8 than he is 5'11. I've stood beside him several times and I'm 6'2. Older Tua is not as big as he's listed either, both also have short arms, short legs and big boned lower half. Tua's draft status has been effected because he has a bad body as if it were based purely on skill he'd be a no doubt top 10 pic. Now his medical chart they look at will show surgeries on both ankles, surgery on a broken pelvis, 2 knee operations, his concussion history, whatever other procedures he's had as well as his actual height and weight. He's lost millions because of his bad body but his talent may make up for it.

I went to school there when Schafer did. He was no worse than JG. He was fun to watch. But he was a trouble maker. I remember multiple fights he was involved in on campus. Trouble was his issue.

But I figure you already knew that. And knew he was recruited to sit the bench.

Little Tua was a package deal for big brother so the family could move into their $750,000.00 home that they are conveniently house sitting in Alabama. Little Tua would thrive at a UCF or Hawaii but probably will never start at Bama- IMO

Once again, the record is what the record is.

There is no exception to record keeping in the case of a player or another. Like I said, it is truly amazing how captivating one player is that he is not judged by the same stats and record keeping that virtually every other player is the history of football is.....

Truly amazing.

Let's be real, everyone is cherrypicking stats when it comes to JG to make it seem like he's better/worse than he is.. he's not nearly as bad as some of you guys are trying to suggest lol

Nor is he nearly as good as some are trying to make him out to be.

Oh my bad. Ok name the starting SEC QB that has had success after having 3 different OCs in 2.5 years of starting.
No one is saying JG hasn’t had challenges, but you have plenty of QBs who transfer to a new system and do just fine as soon as they arrive. JG doesn’t do the little things well. He has no feel and is horrible at escaping pressure. Look at how many mediocre QBs have hurt UT just by keeping the play alive with their legs. When is the last time JG scrambled and made something out of nothing? It don’t happen.

I find it hard to say it’s cherry-picking when people are posting his W/L record as a starter, his passing yards per game average, passing TD’s per game average, and QB ratings on a per game basis. It’s also not cherry-picking when posting these stats over his 2.5 year career.

Cherry-picking would the folks in the back throwing out his record completion % in 2018 and his throws without a pick record.

Somehow those are totally supposed to excuse the stats that actually show whether he produced or not.

JG has improved every year, no reason to think he won't continue that trend next year. His development unfortunately is not happening at a pace to appease our neverJG NegaVol fans. Why are those same fans not ranting so viciously against Pruitt as it's the Coach that keeps running him out there. They don't rail on Pruitt over it because it would make them look foolish as its evident to lots of folks that Pruitt is a pretty damn good coach.
I am not a nega fan, get over that crap dude, been a fan 50 years I love all vol players don't care who gets the credit. JG has struggled some this year as well, quit acting like he didn't. That's why I don't post here much, both sides including you try to act like your man can do know wrong. I am looking at the big picture, there is many phases of JG's game that needs improving as well as the other qb's. The best man will win the job, everybody will be on the same leash next year from the get go. I want our qb's to succeed all of this years group have to become much more consistent. JG's decision making has to get more consistent and quicker in decision making, they all have a ton to perform on and the qb position is wide open going into next year may the player that earns it win it. GBO!

Watching your hero Tom Brady possibly end his career with a pick 6 against Tn is kinda funny to. Wouldn’t you say ?? LOL
I'll go out on a limb and venture that Brady has had a slightly better career than you have, and is regarded as slightly better at what he does than you are at whatever you do (I'm sure you have made it all the way to shift supervisor at Wal-Mart).

Also, it's more than a little dense to suggest that was his last pass, as he has already made clear he's not retiring. In case you missed it, Vegas already has odds up on which team he might play for next year...Go ahead and list all the other times in history that a 42-year-old QB was in demand. Better yet, bet your house that he won't make the playoffs next year, and probably make another run to the Super Bowl, whether he returns to the Pats or plays for someone else.

Without Belichick? Nope. I’d make a wager. Not taking a thing away from Brady. He’s obviously a great QB. But Belichick and his genius game planning are just as big of a part of that equation. Look at all the QBs that have been successful under him. He just knows how to build around a QB. Without landing in NE, Brady wouldn’t have been nearly as successful as he has been.

Peyton Manning is the G O A T. Tom Brady’s not even top 20 without Belichick.

This is bottomlessly dumb and no one outside of Peyton fans ever tries to claim it. Have you ever even watched him play? Not this year, where BB and their scouting department dropped the ball and he had the worst WR corps in the league - but any other year. You could even watch specific games, like the greatest comeback in SB history which he led (down 25 in the third quarter), or the year after that when he set the SB record for passing yards in a game, etc.

As I already listed in another thread, most any HOF quarterback you ask these days says without hesitation that Brady is the GOAT. Aikman, Warner, Staubach, Young, Kelly, Elway, etc. all have said it, not to mention HOF players at other positions like Deion Sanders, Ray Lewis, etc.

But of course you know far more than they do. Or maybe you're just a dishonest Peyton homer with no regard for the truth.

Just stupid.

You need to look at the mirror when making those remarks.

Simply stating something does not make it true. Making a vapid, dishonest argument over and over again doesn't make it any more sound. So unless you are a former NFL quarterback who happens to be a member of the HOF, claiming you know more about the quarterback position than Troy Aikman, Roger Staubach, Steve Young, Jim Kelly, Kurt Warner, and John Elway is not just stupid, but risible.

any rumors on if JG is staying or transferring... that instagram post seemed odd the other day
