93 yards rushing for an average of 3.0 yards per carry, and fans are blaming JG who threw for 311 yards and 2 touchdowns? 77% of the yards on the game came from JG

If Chaney can not establish a run game then it seems his game plan consistently falls apart.

UGA vs Auburn in the 40-17 loss, there was 46 rushing yards for 1.4 yards per carry

UGA vs LSU in the 36-16 loss, there was 113 rushing yards for 3.8 yards per carry

UGA vs Texas in the 28-21 loss, there was 72 yards rushing for 2.4 yards per carry

If Chaney fails to establish a run game of any kind then the games consistently end up flat.

3 turnovers, a pitiful defense, and lack of a run game along with many other things were problems. While JG could have done better, he was far from the top of the list of problems

JG isn’t great...but I have to agree...he is not the main problem. I think we could win with him if things were built right elsewhere

He is a gifted player but his football IQ is depressing. You can't teach dumb. Maybe ask the Mormon bunch from BYU to bring some shock therapy equipment with them and lock him in the film room. Just kidding....i think

You're an expert on UT football the way we're experts on UGA football.

A good portion of that was on the last drive with GSU in prevent and the game out of reach. You failed to mention the 7 yard fast ball he threw on the 2nd play from scrimmage that led to GSU's short field TD. You didn't mention him not noticing a back side corner blitz that came all the way from the sideline while he stood like a statue leading to another turnover. You didn't mention his consistent issues with reading D's and finding the right receivers.

If Chaney can not establish a run game then it seems his game plan consistently falls apart.
JG was unable to sustain drives long before Chaney showed up.

Again, you haven't watched UT football like we have.

I came into the season hoping that JG's issues had been solved. Many spent all off season proclaiming the OL to be his problem. They weren't. Other than a very few times he was protected and had plenty of time. The game simply hasn't slowed down for him. When the lights come on, some guys bloom... he wilts.

I dont think hes the main problem, but the run game also has a correlation to what the QB does presnap. Not getting a push in one on one matchups is on the O-Line. Running into the teeth of the Defense is on the QB. They said he has the option to audible, but I havent seen him audible much if at all. That could be coaching, or it could be his incompetence of Defenses, maybe both. The thing i find more troubling, is the lack of preparation. Its bad when players say they didnt see that stuff on film.....some stuff is understandable, but 38 points worth? Not to mention an offense that struggled all game. It was clear from the opening snap that this team wasnt ready to play

JG is part of the problem, but...

The biggest issue is the coaching staff not treating GA ST as a serious opponent. Not prepared is what I've heard from a couple of players

2nd biggest. The defense has actually went from bad to worse. Slow and out of position. WR's catching the ball with a DB 7 or more yards away.

While the offense has issues, they did manage to score some points

Run game isn’t a thing by itself it depends on our opponents’ respect for the guy under center. When a QB is a legit deep threat it opens up the run game.

JG is not our only problem but he’s our top priority problem and has to be replaced before we can right the ship IMO. It’s a domino chain effect on both sides of the ball and it all starts and ends with the guy who touches the ball every play. No field vision to go vertical, scared checkdown plays, no leadership or positive emotion, all of this and more is killing our productivity in the run game and on D.

GA ST ran a clinic on how to beat JG last night so we’ll face rinse and repeat until we get him out of there. Put in the guy who can throw the ball and stretch the field.

We absolutely can lay blame on jg. He had 3 turnovers which directly led to 17 of their 38 points. Also, we had so many short possessions due to him sliding short of the line to gain, checking down to the te at the line of scrimmage on 3rd and short, missing a wide open receiver for a td at the end of the first half, and missing an open receiver on 4th and short late in the game that was open. Not to mention was not on the same page with his receiver ms at least 5 times. Yes we can blame the QB

This by chattavol420 yesterday nails it.

JG IS THE PROBLEM.

His stats are deceiving. Dude has no energy, is mopey, and can’t read the broad side of a barn of blitzing defenses. Took one straight to the back bc he has no vision. Threw a HORRIBLE interception, and fumbled twice. 3 turnovers a direct result of JG
