Anyway, my take is the Vols have on their team a guy who punched a cop, a guy who verbally assaulted his girlfriend and allegedly threatened to shoot up the school, and a guy who talked about shooting cops and threatened a female cop and sang about murdering people as he was being arrested.

I say unleash all these fronting wannabe tough guys on the bulldogs. Give them a chance to show us how tough they really are! WTFA!

Sort the rest of this crap out later. After the game. After we see how tough they are.

He got tickets, did not pay them and failed to show up on the court date.

This would happen to anyone in the same situation.

You are given the opportunity to just pay, if you don’t it becomes assumed you will come to court to accept or deny, or work out payment. When you do neither your license is suspended......

But this becomes an easy fix. Pay the fines, show proof everything has been taken care of and proof of insurance and bam......usually that simple......but it takes some doing and you’ll have to stand in line quite a while, and go to a couple different places.

Sorry for the confusion....I thought he had a suspended license prior to all the other shenanigans he pulled.

No idea, but I am gonna guess (based on overwhelming evidence) that it's because he isn't particularly smart. I mean, how many smart people freaking fail to appear? I could also ask, "How many smart people put themselves in a position to even potentially fail to appear?", but I am giving everyone a mulligan on that.

Well he kind of did.

He got the tickets and failed to pay or go to court.....license suspended.

Then drove and got pulled over. Got citation for driving on suspended. Then failed to show up to court.....warrant issued.

Then he drove (knowing his license was suspended and he had a warrant)

Then he was stopped for the U turn and during that stop is when everything went down.

He did. He didn't pay the ticket. That gets your license suspended. Then he got pulled over for driving on a suspended and didn't show up for court. That's when the warrant was issued. And then he was pulled over for this illegal u turn .

1. Didn't pay the ticket = Stupid.
2. Thinking that not paying the ticket would result in anything other than problems = Stupid.
3. Driving on a suspended license = Stupid.
4. Busting an illegal U = Stupid.
5. Running off at the mouth at cops when he was the idiot = Stupid.

I hope his football IQ is stronger than his walking around IQ because he is a grade A dumbass.

I'm only kidding (halfway) - but, yeah, Tenn didn't win championships with a bunch of nice, mild mannered dudes on the team.

Banks should have known to keep his mouth shut, though. Save it for your buddies - telling the cops you hate their guts doesn't usually end up doing you any favors and it didn't change his predicament, it actually made it monumentally worse.

It doesn’t matter how they feel he made threats clear and simple. You are so hell bent on your narrative you can’t see the simple facts. If I say I’m going to shoot the president it’s a threat weather he feels like it’s going to happen. If he says he will see that girl on campus after talking about shooting cops in that context it is a threat. IT DOESNT MATTER HOW THEY FEEL.
