Jeremy Banks needs to be dismissed

That was never said. You just can't read and follow comments. I never once said the U Turn is what started all this mess.
Just curious and of course continue to rock out with it, but why do you feel the need to ensure everyone uses lawyer speak to ensure every detail of this case is discuss in the manner you want it to be discussed?

You literally are quoting a snipit of an entire comment. So dumb

Yes that was the only part I had any remote problem with.

“He consented to a car search and they found nothing in his car.

Obviously being out late is suspect but to say he was lucky to not get a field sobriety test or drug test is dumb.

Remember this is all over a wrong U turn. I'm sure that screamed the driver being under the influence”

I do not believe all of this is over a wrong U turn. I believe it is over the fact Banks drove that night, when he shouldn’t have.......then everything else happened.

My dad, didnt teach me alot, but he did tell me once..."Never do two illegal things at once"

The real question is what would coach Coach Finstock do in this situation? He only had three rules to live by:

1. Never get less than twelve hours sleep a night.
2. Never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city.
3. Never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body.

Since they are not going to punish him I think they have to throw there full support behind him...........They can have a video play during time outs that starts with his video "back where I come from we shoot at cops" then Kenny Chesneys "Back where I come from" plays with a montage of Memphis and various cops getting shot in tv shows and movies. It will be a feel good for all!

I guess it's good that we're not playing North Carolina this season.

That literally made me spit my water out!

This funny anywhere other than north K-Town?

Literally my whole comment was in response to the guy saying he was lucky he didn’t get a UI charge.
The stop all started because of a U Turn and that doesn’t scream someone is under the influence.

Keep trolling.

You never said the “stop” occurred because of a U turn.......not in any of the comments. You said “this” which would refer back to what you both were talking about, you guys were not talking solely about a “stop”.......and it would include all.

But hey keep on schooling me.

Read the comment I was responding too. It was solely about being under the influence or not. You’ve shown you can’t comprehend that comments are mostly responses to other comments here.

If you guys can keep arguing for another 12 hours or so, I think I can contact Guinness. Or you can drink some Guinness to loosen up a bit.

Ok “under the influence”

So now I get it. Because you were talking about being under the influence or not.........none of that happened because Banks chose to derive when he shouldn’t have......it was because he got pulled over because of a U turn.

All I’m saying is actions lead to reactions or other actions. Banks driving when he should not have been caused all the other actions that night (for that night and of the actions concerning the traffic stop).

Funny......cause I agree and I’m in on it.

But we aren’t arguing really.

The worst he has said was schooling and dumb......he ain’t trying to be mean and argumentative.

The worst I have said was he was wrong. And I’m not trying to be argumentative.

Just a disagreement. He feels I should look further and my comment is wrong. I feel his comment makes slight of Bank’s actions........intended or not.

No big deal

Loved the apology though. You can obviously tell Banks wrote it *wink wink*. Pruitt has to know his players. I think the kid was upset talkin trash, not really meaning it, but as I said Pruitt should know if his player has a warrant. He can't keep track of everything, like when the guy is driving, but when kids (as adults) have records and warrants it's public knowledge. Every coach should know details like that when they're allowing them on a team and getting a scholarship. Someone should kinda keep track of those little details. Just my two cent

I am a lifelong Vol fan from Alabama, and yes it is as difficult as you would expect. I'm also a police officer of 24 years. Yes, we have heard worse during our career. Yes, it is generally just provocative banter and nothing more. Yes, I'm sure minor infractions are often overlooked at some universities. I won't second guess the officers because I don't know what directives they might be working under that limit their discretion.

That being said, Rolando was probably the biggest thug to pass through the U of A but while he was at school you never heard a peep from him. What this situation demonstrates is an absolute lack of fear of the coaching staff. The only thing going through that young man's mind while sitting in the back of that patrol car should have been the fear of having to face his coach. That is missing and that is disappointing.

I've endured a lot of grief in the last two decades while living in Alabama during football season but I have never been ashamed of my Vols. This is embarrassing, not just because of his behavior, but for what it says about our coaching staff. I've supported CJP as much as I have our other coaches and I do believe a coach deserves time to develop his program but I don't like the direction this is headed.

First off, people don't "form their own feelings". We feel. We can, to some extent, train ourselves ahead of time so that when situations occur, we don't overreact based on feelings, but we don't wait for a situation, then decide how we're going to feel about it.

Secondly, huh? The very point I made was that the officer's feelings do not enter into this at all. Just because someone doesn't feel threatened doesn't mean that threats weren't made. How in the world could you interpret that to mean that he or she isn't capable of feelings and opinions.
Find out the number to your night judge or judicial commissioner in your town and ask him if someone made statements in your presence to do you harm and see what his next question will be. It will be did you feel threatened? Warrant given. After you file a report of course. But just call and ask

Did y'all know there's a mf'ing football game in two days? Against Georgia? One of our most hated border state rivals? In the SEC East? Who we beat three years ago? At Georgia? Who think they can checker Neyland in red and black?

But yeah, let's keep these distractions going. That's the ticket.

Anyway, my take is the Vols have on their team a guy who punched a cop, a guy who verbally assaulted his girlfriend and allegedly threatened to shoot up the school, and a guy who talked about shooting cops and threatened a female cop and sang about murdering people as he was being arrested.

I say unleash all these fronting wannabe tough guys on the bulldogs. Give them a chance to show us how tough they really are! WTFA!

Sort the rest of this crap out later. After the game. After we see how tough they are.

If that merits a dismissal, we might as well close down our sports programs.
He was angry and said something very wrong. But, dismissal? Would our rivals?

We can't base our actions on what our enemies do. Should the US military target innocent children since terrorists do?

When he told the female intern " I remember faces, I'll see you around campus." That crossed the line. He's gotta go. No telling what this thug is capable of.
