I'm not going to argue the validity of the symbol but when you direct that towards an AA in 2019, it has a racist overtone. It's like the middle finger. In America, it means 1 thing and in other cultures, it means the exact opposite.
We’re big time now....

I agree. But then I look at google news and see stuff like this. Sigh. When I was a kid, if you looked at it, you got punched in the arm.I just did and really screwed up. He now thinks that project I've been working on is all good to go and scheduled the release. Now I actually have to work! Terrible advice
The ok being racist was an internet troll job. Anyone falling for it is a complete idiot
This is as ****ed up as his comments. You need the bar lowered on behavior simply because of race? You really want to project that optic???No he dont need to be dismissed. Not trying to make this a racial thing, but as a black man we are always defensive when it come to police officers. We just dont trust them.

Police video shows UT football player calling coach, insulting officers during arrest
Used to be what it took to get kicked out of school. Now it’s talking bad about stuff.![]()
For the OK symbol, it looks like it was the Anti-Defamation League. You have to see racism everywhere to be able to see the stem on the P, though, because it's not there.

Funny that people continue to call them kids. I am a proud Iraq war veteran and it is disturbing to me that we ask 18 to 21 year olds to go and fight a war and we call them young men and women but when it comes to football we call the same age people kids and then talk about how much stress they are under. Why can't we just say that he should have acted like he had some sense and kept his mouth shut and respected the police. He done the crime and it is incumbant on him to do the time. If our "kids" in the military had done this they would be punished. So I wonder why a lot of people on this board feel like he shouldn't beIt doesn't
What he said was stupid, but officers hear that nonsense all the time. They say it, but don't mean it. It's just to try and piss them off. He apologized and that's the end of it
No need in destroying a kids future over one silly ass comment
We're better than these SJWs who want to fire people for what they said. Everyone says things sometimes that they regret later. We need to remember that
I refer to college kids as kids, as a Marine Sergeant Major I often referred to junior Marines as kids. All the same, junior troops, while I love them and would put my life on the line for them....they make dumb immature kid like decisions....I know I was once one of them..Funny that people continue to call them kids.
