Would the penalties be like the penalties Holder didn't impose on himself when he was held in contempt of congress?

The only penalties congress can impose on the AG is impeachment or defunding.

At least they pulled him in, Congress basically makes law and provides funding. They already know though.

Trump/Vance political stunts backfired -> they can flip the script by disclosing everything or prosecuting. That's about it.

I was aware that was a rabbit hole as I thought that because they basically the same but because of the different agencies they are treated differently by law

The co-conspirators are the rich and powerful "Johns" that got get out of jail free cards from Pam Bondi probably under the guise of "cooperating" even though they were doing horrible acts themselves. Bondi has been actively involved in covering this up for a decade+ at this point, since her time in Florida.

Sounds to me like they got together and decided they could make a play to throw the pimp under the bus and save all their own skins "for the good of the country's stability". And the intelligence agencies get to hold on to the dirt for leverage.

I agree that Bondi is just a good little soldier receiving her marching orders but she's been at the forefront of this thing for years now. If you could get her to flip she could probably tear the whole house of cards down but I'm sure she's too compromised at this point.

Not if its classified. Congress did not remove the classification but it did give direction as to intent but there is no easy way of tackling that. Trump/Vance set themselves up for this. Even if the AG doesn't do what she is suppose to as far as the Act, the material would still be classified.

So, when people leave -- you still won't hear a real sound.

Its federal, as I believe the State handed it off to the feds. The feds gave Epstein and co-conspirators kind of a blanket type plea deal, that was like in 2008.

There isn't anything Pam can do, if Trump doesn't want to disclose -- assuming its classified at this point.

I would say this is more of a political problem -> Trump and Vance are going to have to listen to "pedo" and "pedo protector" for the rest of their lives.

Epstein is more than likely sitting on a beach somewhere with a drink and more.
