Without looking it up, I'm guessing you hate orange because you've NEVER beaten both UT and Clemson in the same year.

There are only 4 years in which that would be possible since that's the grand total of W's you have against UT in history. And, since Clemson spanked you this year, that leaves 3 possible years. Could you save me the time and just concede that point?

Some of yall act like you got gipped out of the SEC title this year. You guys blew terribly. You lost to Wyoming at home and finished last in the east yet you're convinced you'll be winning an SEC championship under the greatest new coach ever, Kiffin (unproven). Here's something USCLite did do THIS year and that is beat a UT team that didn't go bowling. Its sad that you think you have some kind of superiority over us. There is no guarentee yall will be atop the East again next year or even remotely close to it. Remember, Im not talking about our team so don't spew out negative stuff about USC. It's off topic now. We're a step ahead of UT and that's all there is to it. What happened in the 90's or early 00's is in your head and has nothing to do with how things are now.

You just keep believing all of that...and next year when things are back to normal we won't have to worry about seeing you around here...you don't strike me as the type who comes back to take his medicine

The only real plus you have over us where the running back in question is concerned is the fact that you have no real competition at that position for a recruit to compete against. By all indications that seems to be playing a large role in his decision. Not exactly something to beat your chest over.

You are correct, we may not be back on top, most likely we will be a seven or eight win team. We are down but our future looks much brighter than yours for the foreseeable future. If you cannot see that there is no use in debating.

History repeats itself. USCe is and will always be a bottom dweller. Tennessee will be SEC champions again well before USCe even thinks about going to Atlanta.

Thanks Eric. That's true. However, behind the line they have at USCeast, that means he'll probably get injured even before he becomes draft eligible. Of course, that's assuming he has an interest in playing after college, and he may not considering that choice.

Giles has definitely been fragile this season for his HS team. There are a lot of top prospects though that get injured and do just fine in college. Losing any big recruit is enough to make me puke, especially when we lose him to Spurrier. Barring any late heroics by Drayton, I will throw up some time tomorrow. :puke5:

By they way...that tactic Reaves and Kiffin used with Giles showing Reggie Bush clips? Are you serious? Even if I wasn't a USC fan I could see through that. UT is not SoCal, the SEC is not the Pac10 where every team has a terrible defense. And Giles is not a Reggie Bush.

Since yall care so much about recruiting, we have the no.10 recruiting class. We have a new OL coach (he will fix our OL problems just like Kiffin will fix your offense according to your logic), and we lost a prick of a coach/recruiter in Reaves.

Yay! this is fun. Where was that all time record between USCe and UT that was posted on here today? Oh well, the point is that history repeats itself in college football 98% of the time. This means that your team is as good as it will ever be right now and your coach went there to retire and play golf. It also means that our coach came here to improve on his young career and win championships because, well it was the best place in the country to do so.

Calm down with the language please. An inferiority complex is no reason to curse.

And Giles is not a Reggie Bush.

I'd take Kiffin's assessment over yours since he recruited both. Kiffin was likely thinking about potential and how he helped develop Reggie's in any discussion with Giles.

I'm guessing that you're not basing your assessment on any firsthand experience with Reggie Bush? And, watching his wife on Dancing with the Stars doesn't count as firsthand experience.

I guess you didn't read my next to last post. I just made a point how UT fans are caught up in there history in the 90s and early 00's.

According to ihateorange4 the past doesn't matter...that is of course unless we're talking about coaching...in that case what Spurrier has actually done at USCe is irrelevant and the fact that he won alot of games in the 90's means they're better off...

In other words....ihateorange4 has no logical or structured basis for any of his opinions...he just spouts off whatever suits his argument at the time and then dances around it later when his ignorance is called out

At the very least we've got hope, my feeble-minded friend - fans of USCe can't say the same thing. The definition of insanity is watching the same thing over and over again while expecting a different result each time, only to be disappointed in the end. I'd say there are a lot of insane folks milling around the beautiful fairground in Columbia on game day.

How is it sad when it's the absolute truth? Tennessee has typically beaten USCe like a red-headed stepchild over the years. Heck, South Carolina isn't even the best program in the state - take a look at your team's stellar record against Clemson for proof.

There is no guarentee yall will be atop the East again next year or even remotely close to it.

And that's how it is every year for the Cocks.

Spurrier is still Spurrier. UT has a different coach than they did during the "glory days".

I guess you didn't read my next to last post. I just made a point how UT fans are caught up in there history in the 90s and early 00's.

It's easy to not be "caught up in history," when your SEC accomplishments rival those of Kentucky and Vanderbilt.

Since yall care so much about recruiting, we have the no.10 recruiting class. We have a new OL coach (he will fix our OL problems just like Kiffin will fix your offense according to your logic), and we lost a prick of a coach/recruiter in Reaves.

This was supposed to be your year. You had the defense to put it all together, yet it didn't work out. We lost to your gamecocks because we didn't have a qb or an OC who was fully prepared for the situation. You too had terrible qb play but your defense was by no means superior.

I just don't see your logic of your impending success over us based upon 1 year. Now if it were to continue for another year or two you might have something to go on. As of right now you are basing your opinion of the future based on the results of the worst offensive football team UT has put on the field in more than 50 years.

ihateorange, can you please explain one thing to me.

How does losing to Vanderbilt in two consecutive years put USClittle in a better position than UT?

Spurrier is still Spurrier. UT has a different coach than they did during the "glory days".
And Spurrier has been no different than any other USCe coach ever. USCe is the equivalent to Vandy without the academics. Have fun dreaming about watching the cocks play in Atlanta... because that is the only way it will ever happen.
