Jarvis Giles

I wrote on Jarvis wall one day. There is a way to do it without being an idiot. Basically I told him no matter where he goes give 110%. Just he'd look best in orange.

The funny thing is he has been on my friends list for about two months. He commented one some photo I had with a girl and put "holy moly fine" I had to scratch my head to figure out who it was for a minute.

1. Drayton isn't coming here. If anything Kiffin will keep Drayton around long enough for Giles to commit.
2. Ever since it's been mentioned that Giles will go to USC every other post has been about how Oku is better all-around than Giles. It may be true but every one of you are saying that to make you feel better in case you lose him. Can't deny that.

One thing is certain.

If one player comes to UT and the other goes to USCeast, the player at UT has a higher probability of playing in the NFL. You guys suck in comparison on that stat... admit it.

Your offense was even more pitiful than ours this past year. What makes you think he'll have a better chance of going pro in yours? Because REGGIE BUSH played under Kiffin?

That's just where our best players go.

But, if Giles does go to USCeast, if he plays his cards right on facebook with Oku, maybe Oku can get him some NFL tickets and sign his kid's ball some day.:)

Well, your offense was bad, and will be run by the same offensive coordinator next year.

UT's offense was bad, and will be run by a new offensive coordinator next year.

UT is at least demonstrating an effort to improve things on offense.

Recent history maybe. Or UT is just one year removed from playing for the SEC, something USClite has never done.

ihateorange4 reminds me of an old saying....."You can educate ignorance, but you can't fix stupid"

Who's leading the NFL in rushing TD's right now?

Oh yeah.....FAIL!

Oh...you wanna know why Spurrier was bitching and moaning about Kiffin and recruiting?

He knows another young, talented coach is coming along to knock him down ANOTHER peg.

I'll be sure to tell Jarvis you said hey.

ihateorange, you just got pummeled.

You should have just taken your medicine and admitted, college ball is as far as your program can take Giles. Now, leave the players who are talented enough to have a shot at the pros to UT.

Giles is good enough or Kiffin wouldn't be talking to him. That's the way it works in Knoxville now. CLK tells 4*'s to look elsewhere if he doesn't think he can help get them get to the League.

Btw... if Spurrier would quit whining, CLK might send a few of our rejects your way. We can work together as long as you guys know we're in charge.

I would love to get Giles. That being said, if he chooses playing time over the chance to play for a championship, have fun being a cock. I'll take the guys who don't fear the competition.

That is the requirement at UT.

When CLK essentially told All-American Eric Berry, and the rest of the team, that they would have to compete for starting positions, no recruit should think otherwise. Yet, therein lies the opportunity for talented recruits to play as Frosh if they truly are the best on the roster.

I don't see Berry backing away from a competitive challenge like that as his is the heart of a champion!

Guys, from what I have read and heard, as of right now it's not looking good for us in the Giles saga. Take it for what it's worth, but I think he ends up at SC based on what I have read and heard.

I hate to see him throw an opportunity for a career in football away, but I know you usually have great inside info, Eric.

It will be interesting to hear our very own USCe concern troll spinning away after* Giles becomes a Gamecock tomorrow.

I'm sure we'll hear a lot more about the lack of our recruiting ability and very little about competition.

Some of yall act like you got gipped out of the SEC title this year. You guys blew terribly. You lost to Wyoming at home and finished last in the east yet you're convinced you'll be winning an SEC championship under the greatest new coach ever, Kiffin (unproven). Here's something USCLite did do THIS year and that is beat a UT team that didn't go bowling. Its sad that you think you have some kind of superiority over us. There is no guarentee yall will be atop the East again next year or even remotely close to it. Remember, Im not talking about our team so don't spew out negative stuff about USC. It's off topic now. We're a step ahead of UT and that's all there is to it. What happened in the 90's or early 00's is in your head and has nothing to do with how things are now.

He wants to play from Day 1 from what I have read, so that doesn't look too good for us.

Thanks Eric. That's true. However, behind the line they have at USCeast, that means he'll probably get injured even before he becomes draft eligible. Of course, that's assuming he has an interest in playing after college, and he may not considering that choice.

So, by losing to Vanderbilt in consecutive years means you are ahead of us?

congrats...you pick on us for losing to wyoming....then brag how you beat us...you make no sense

Sad that he thinks that wouldn't be a possibility here. I don't want to make a judgment about his personality based on this info, especially since we don't know the official decision yet, but I certainly don't want a guy who's not willing to work to prove that he's the best at his position.
