Now let's be fair. There's one distinct difference between USCe and all these other teams with no SEC championships........

USCe has been competing for them for years and has completely and utterly failed. Therefore, you shouldn't tarnish all these other schools' records by grouping them in with the likes of the cocks.

I appreciate it guys...but it's no major accomplishment to own ihateorange4...

He has been owned 117 times in this thread alone :)

That's 117 times more than USCe has won an SEC championship.

Other fun facts:

The Gamecocks have failed to score a single point in 160 games, over 15% of their contests

Of the 56 programs which have played more than 1000 games all-time, only four have scored fewer points than South Carolina in their school’s history

Since 1992, only three times has any non-probation member of the conference failed to win two or more games overall in a season. Yet South Carolina has accomplished this feat twice, Kentucky only once.

Since 1992, only once has a conference member failed to win a game overall in a single season. You guessed it, South Carolina.

....

I agree, totally not fair to those fine institutions. If nothing else i'm sure their facilities warrant a little more respect than being compared to the Columbia City Dump.

But....but...but....USCe beat UT this year(sniff sniff)...

that obviously means they're going to own UT from now on

So what you guys are saying is that ...
Selling USCe SEC Championship rings on Ebay would be the equivalent of selling beach front property in Arizona?

Or, more directly, selling some recruit that if he comes to USCe, he can win championships?

Like Reaves said, he came to UT to do that... for the obvious reason that he knew it could NOT be done at USCeast.

Welcome to a Championship Town, Coach Reaves!

Actually.... that would be Valdosta, GA :p

I am no Rhode Schollar but I love when he posts because it makes me feel like Socrates.

Recipe for owning ihateorange4....

1. Let ihateorange4 choose a topic....

2. Allow enough time for ihateorange4 to make at least 2 posts about said topic...

That's it...that's all the ammo you'll need to shoot down anything that ihateorange4 spews out

let giles go remember we have t.williams and oku imo, williams will be the best one coming in.

And, by coming to UT, they don't feel outmatched by competition for playing time at the college level.

We welcome players who have enough confidence in themselves to compete for a starting position.

A championship town, not THE championship town.

Correct. My bad. I should have left off the caps. I forgot some station did that context for the official 'title.'

Correct me if I'm wrong, but, unlike Knoxville, I don't think Columbia SC was nominated.

Very true. They drove right by Columbia on thier way from Knoxville to Valdosta.

not a bad thing to write on someones wall..just not a recruit..Its kind of ridiculous and Kentucky got in trouble for it when P Patterson was being recruited because UK fans were all over his myspace saying come to UK.

i doubt writing, "Hey man, we'd love to see you running the ball into the checkerboards and winning championships for the University of Tennessee. Good luck in whatever you pursue." is considered ridiculous.

Gamecock fan hear:

How do yall think Giles stands? I personally think he's going to be a Vol. I don't know why he'd want to be a Gamecock, that's for sure.

My gut tells me he will be a cock but trying to read this kid is like trying to read the Rosetta Stone.
