Uh no actually your wrong. He didn't quit on UT. Some fathers just have control over kids, which isn't fair and says alot about BBs character. Great kid who did didn't want to leave but did because of his sorry ass father. So no that's not quitting.

sure it is. He had 2 choices and chose to quit and follow his father's wishes. If he wanted to stay at UT he should have manned up and done it. Doesn't mean I hope he fails but he left all on his own

And what makes you the sole Source of All Knowledge? Your problem is obvious, you think you know everything and can't accept anyone else's point of view if it differs from yours. Typical Gen X. This is not a kid anymore but a 20 or 21 year old man still acting like a 13 year old teenager.

Lmfao..well OK since you know everything I got nothing else to add. Thanks for setting that straight with your years of knowledge and wisdom. Definitely won't question you again player.

Unless you have seen or been around a parent like that you just can't understand the situation. Like I said I have known kids with a father like BB and that **** starts at a very young age and by time they are 18-19 they are so brainwashed its ridiculous. This is my wife's profession so I have heard stuff about just kids in general from abusive to just the mental control some of the parents have. Its truly sad but not uncommon. Can scar a child for life. That's why I truly feel for him and hope he has a ton of success, he doesn't have a diploma to fall back on.

his situation doesn't matter when debating whether he quit or not. By the accepted definition of the word that's exactly what he did. You can argue using your wife's credentials all day and it still won't change the fact that he quit UT.

I thought the ignorant BB haters were done hating on him 2 years ago....stop trolling.

Exactly..wish they would leave the kid alone. But the Kiffin hate hasn't stopped either, which is sad. I some people can't let stuff go.If I knee without a doubt Kiffin would run a clean program I would take him back in a heartbeat.

Ahh OK..but no he didn't. So by that then all the players Dooley has sent packing he has quit on. If you have ever divorced or broke up with someone or left a job you quit on them.

exactly! You can use the "moving on", "going in a different direction" or "change of scenery" excuse but if you do something like leave your job you did quit. Maybe you can't tell but there's not always a negative associated with the word. For example, if someone quits smoking that's not a bad thing

JJ may have trouble getting into the NFL with past major drug problems someone may do free agency with him

I agree with you on that.My issue is people still hating on this kid, hoping for failure and saying he won't amount to anything is absurd. Same as with Kiffin. Too much hate in this world and people let it consume them. Especially over an 18 yr old kid at the time and a coach leaving for a better job.

Spin Doctors. If you don't like the bad news, spin it to whatever you do like and call it fact.

A 21 year old Kid that has a 45 year old "Adult" judging him based off of decisions that he made about where to play football? Real mature sir.

I would imagine 1982Alum is closer to 60...based not only on his name but also using the "Gen X" term. If he was 45 he would be right at the beginning of Gen X.

This "kid" quit twice on two different teams. I won't even throw in the saga he pulled on UMiami. So when does he ever grow up? Age 30, 45, never?

The idea of being a "victim" is a ridiculous notion brought on by the liberals who want to blame all the world's ills on someone or something else so they can sue and line their pockets for their own stupid mistakes.

Bottomline is the BB saga at UT and KSU is laughable. So is BB. A complete failure for the #1 recruit in the country. Spin that fact.

The bottom line is that the "kid" quit football teams. He's not selling drugs, stealing or even cheating on tests. There are much more serious things that he could have done wrong with his life to date. Take a chill pill dude. I bet you did some pretty stupid things at his age that other people looked down on you for. Simple fact is, you live an you learn. hopefully he can learn from this "saga" in his life and use it to better himself in the future.

This one time? I stole some drugs? And then sold them? And then I cheated the buyer out of some money? And then I told them to take a chill pill? And all was good?
But then I quit? And so they shot me...

I know...this is a stupid thing for my age.

You poor victim. You were victimized by an angry parent I am sure and that drove you to your life of drug selling.

I wish them well and hope they do great.

A rough go around in college doesn't necessarily mean they will be failures in the league.
