SIAP but I just was looking over the underclassmen entering the NFL draft and found: Janzen Jackson- McNeese State. We all know about Brown's decision by now, but I had not heard of Jackson making himself eligible for the draft.

His stats this past year are: 29 tackles, 1 TFL, and 2 INT. I can assume that opposing offenses tried to take advantage of the other side of the field against him, but I was shocked to see his name on the list.

Brown was his last resort and is a head case due to his family situation. Jackson hopefully has turned his life around and can show that during his interview sessions with pro organizations. Wish them both the best.

Agree...It's a shame things worked out like they did for both, maybe they can turn their lives around.

Brown's college stats show he scored twice as many touchdowns (4) as college teams he quit on (2). Surely some CFL team may take him as a bench warmer............

I expect Jackson to make an impact in the NFL, Brown I do not.

I disagree. Brown will do well in the NFL. Janzen will do well if he keeps his head right. Jackson is far more of a headcase than BB. Getting away from his father controlling him will go a long way for Bryce. I am pulling for him. The case of a crazy ass father trying to control his son instead of letting him be a man and making his own decisions.

If you think he quit on UT you have no clue what went on with that poor kid. He had no desire to be at K.State and didn't want to leave Knoxville. Parents need to learn to not be so controlling and let them make their own decisions. Janzen by far was the more troubled.

He quit on us plain and simple. I don't buy the "He was a victim of__________" mentality. Old enough to vote; old enough to make his own decisions. He will amount to nothing in life.

I think if the NFL didnt have a substance abuse policy JJ would be a 1st round pick even now - since they do - look for latter rounds and someone will get a steal for a couple years at least - i hope he can get his head on straight b/c he could be one heck of a pro

his cover skills at the safety position are an absolute perfect fit for today's NFL - hope he doesnt waste it

Brown will have to show a little more desire....He is a lethargic runner...

His father and the agent are what screw him up and it was a circus act for sure...

Jackson's head space and timing comes from the crap Kiffin and Co pulled on him and Jackson inablility to cope with it.....You may be right he may not cut it in the NFL but I think he does but his head must be cleared in order for him to succeed and he will have to prove and earn it.....Its crunch time for both of them......

No, not to hell. But I fully expect to be paying for him and his illegitimate children for many years to come.

Uh no actually your wrong. He didn't quit on UT. Some fathers just have control over kids, which isn't fair and says alot about BBs character. Great kid who did didn't want to leave but did because of his sorry ass father. So no that's not quitting.

I didn't mean it to sound like I didn't think he would succeed. I think if he gets his head right and off the stuff he's on he can be a great NFL player. But he had mental issues before he got to UT, just got worse.

Way to go off on a kid. Why don't you tell him that face to face. He will do well in the NFL. Wow some people have no clue whatsoever.

I could see Jackson doing well. Brown has talent, it's just whether or not he can use it to achieve what he needs to make it to the next level

Absolutely..I really hope he can. I have seen fathers like his ruin their child's life so I will definitely pull for him to succeed.

And what makes you the sole Source of All Knowledge? Your problem is obvious, you think you know everything and can't accept anyone else's point of view if it differs from yours. Typical Gen X. This is not a kid anymore but a 20 or 21 year old man still acting like a 13 year old teenager.
