James Pearce Jr. arrested again

No justification for beating a woman’s ass. Unless you are defending yourself, or protecting your life
Some women are more than capable of beating a man. Not in this particular instance but they are definitely out there.

Oh look, another violent millionaire criminal produced by professional athletics. The only profession that produce violent millionaire criminals. It's not a problem tho right?
I think it’s produced by upbringing and genes. How can you blame professional athletics??

In part, it's how we treat athletes. There's stories of HS athletes doing things from vandalism to rape and a community blaming those who report it to the authorities because it's bad for the team.

You can see on VN that violent confrontations we've had involving team members, if they are talented enough to be a loss for the team, always get the best possible "it's not that bad and not really his fault" until it's undeniable.

Pearce has reached undeniable but I'll wager because of his talent he's been a "let it pass because he's so good" athlete for a long time.

Frankly, we see it in things like politics. A person is so important to a movement that we just overlook terrible behavior as "just what he does" until it becomes undeniable.

I agree that they get held in high regard and bad behavior is swept under the rug but the thugs are already thugs to do evil 💩 in the first place.

Well, kids are also all just knuckleheads and they all need a good bit of discipline.

As a matter of fact, what UT needs as a team is more hardcore discipline and Pearce and his essentially coasting through his last year at UT was probably "over tolerated" because of his talent.

It's a problem that trickles down to the less talented.

I know Doral very well as I lived in Doral for over 15 years and owned two homes there and watched Doral when it was only horse country and basically nothing to now a city itself with own police force and tripled in population reason I left to move to central Florida.

Anyway, Doral is literally no crime except traffic stuff like speeding or maybe break ins to cars at local hotels or Dolphins Mall and the Miami-Dade police Corp headquarters is located right there in Doral. All I can say is Pearce is very lucky to not have gotten shot or worst especially trying to run over a police officer. Miami police aren't like police in other cities scared to do their job. They are some of the best of the best and aren't afraid to shoot if need be. Hats off to Doral PD for not taking it to the extreme and arresting him without ending his life.

I'm kind of curious what Pearce and former Lady Vol was doing in Doral? Not exactly a hang out spot to athletes like South Beach. It's 90% Spanish speaking Hispanics mainly wealthy Hispanics from Venezuela, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, etc.. and has been last 20 years and also the Trump Golf resort is there famous for the ex Ryder Open in the past and the Blue Monster.

I'm not. I'm saying it's a privilege to be one and if you commit a violent crime it should be taken away instead of letting them back in if they do certain things. I'm also referring to felonies, not a dumb bar fight or something similar. You can be a better person and rehabilitate yourself without the millions. Someone who doesn't commit violent crime can get your check instead, they are more deserving. This should start at the collegiate level. No other profession would allow this.

I agree it is the upbringing but everyone looks the other way because they are gifted athletes that can make then money, even at the high school level things are looked over. It's a problem and ultimately it should start in the home but that's another subject entirely.

Anyone heard a rumor that he had an altercation with a coach while at TN?
I think I read somewhere, a couple of years ago, that after he was arrested in Knoxville and made really stupid comments to the police that he was assigned a ”minder“ to help keep him out of trouble.

Idk about career being over. Dude walked into the NFL and got 10 1/2 sacks as rookie. Those dudes don’t grow on trees so he’ll get every opportunity to redeem himself. Only thing that will stop his career is the Judicial system.
His NFL career is probably over. The NFL doesn’t mess around with Domestic Violence.

Stephon Diggs is literally facing felony strangulation & assault charges on a woman and he’s going to start in the Superbowl tonight. So not only is he playing, but he’s playing on the biggest stage in football.

Don’t know what happened but fellas, if it gets too heated with your lady….leave. Extricate yourself from the situation. This is a bad look. This is on JPJ 💯 percent.
Oh yeah. Not implying any blame should be taken from him. Every man has to work their way through these ordeals to some extent at some point in time.

BUT, hitting a cop during your getaway maybe the straw...

A quick poke around shows her doing a "day in the life in Miami" video showing her matching clothes with her Skechers so I'm guessing she has a home somewhere in the Miami area.

Her and Pearce have apparently had an on-off thing for some time with her being with him on draft day and months later saying she was not in a relationship with anyone.

This appears to be young folks who had a thing, didn't have a thing, maybe had a hard time deciding what thing they still had which isn't uncommon for young people.

Like lots of young relationships, the drama got way out of hand and someone (maybe both) got out of control and bad choices were made.

They're both rich and gifted and probably haven't been told no a lot because of their talent and money. And that makes bad decisions easier and often worse, so here we are. It's sad.
