This is more serious than wanting to fire a guy for calling bad plays or missing a tackle. I wish everyone would hold themselves more responsible with their opinions and stick to what we know so far.His career is not over. FFS Henry Ruggs is making a comeback and he is still sitting in prison at the moment. And he killed someone
I'm pretty sure it's like in TN, don't really need her help prosecuting especially with physical evidence. They may get no support from her on prosecuting him since she's WNBA and probably not looking for a big payday from him.
Unless he really roughed her up, which he's obviously capable of, they may have a hard time making anything but evading stick.
There's video out there of a half dozen or so officers trying to get him to get on his stomach but it looks like he went reasonably peacefully in the end.
He's a psychopath regardless of what she "did"....don't be an idiotI would not be surprised if she was screwing around on him (with another woman, even). I doubt the man was sleep walking and thought she was a punching bag.
Justice cannot be served without understanding that there are two parties involved. Either one person is a psychopath and should be removed from society permanently, or two people need to go to jail because something led up to this.
He’s either a troll or he’s spent so much time watching incels online that his brain has completely rotted. There’s no sense trying to make sense out of what he says. Why did you say it’s satanic?
I have to agreeI'm not. I'm saying it's a privilege to be one and if you commit a violent crime it should be taken away instead of letting them back in if they do certain things. I'm also referring to felonies, not a dumb bar fight or something similar. You can be a better person and rehabilitate yourself without the millions. Someone who doesn't commit violent crime can get your check instead, they are more deserving. This should start at the collegiate level. No other profession would allow this.
I agree it is the upbringing but everyone looks the other way because they are gifted athletes that can make then money, even at the high school level things are looked over. It's a problem and ultimately it should start in the home but that's another subject entirely.
He looked violent in the videoThis is more serious than wanting to fire a guy for calling bad plays or missing a tackle. I wish everyone would hold themselves more responsible with their opinions and stick to what we know so far.
All I’ve gathered is Pearce got arrested for a police call and he evaded police. What kind of trouble will he be in for evading police?
If what is going on with Pearce is a history of violence, then so be it. I haven’t seen any news stories that explicitly stated that he has a history of violence.
If he rammed her car with his that’s a lethal weapon. If he hit an officer with his car. It’s over he will see time. Aggravated felony assault.Lets say they drop those charges or he settles out of court with her. Him resisting, fleeing, and crashing his vehicle in itself can be a career ender.
He threw it all away for nothing.
I didn’t know that. Just odd if she would be living in Doral of all places if that’s where she maybe is living because it’s 90% or more Hispanics mainly just South Americans. Very little to No Cubans , Dominicans or Central Americans.A quick poke around shows her doing a "day in the life in Miami" video showing her matching clothes with her Skechers so I'm guessing she has a home somewhere in the Miami area.
Her and Pearce have apparently had an on-off thing for some time with her being with him on draft day and months later saying she was not in a relationship with anyone.
This appears to be young folks who had a thing, didn't have a thing, maybe had a hard time deciding what thing they still had which isn't uncommon for young people.
Like lots of young relationships, the drama got way out of hand and someone (maybe both) got out of control and bad choices were made.
They're both rich and gifted and probably haven't been told no a lot because of their talent and money. And that makes bad decisions easier and often worse, so here we are. It's sad.
