I suspect it will be a lot more than 8 games. Rice got suspended 6 games for fleeing the scene of an accident. These charges of battery are much more serious. Both jail time and suspension will be lengthy. I'm thinking he's out of the league for two seasons minimum. He's talented enough he could make a comeback but his actions have cost him severely.

I don't see a multiple season suspension happening lol

Generally the league and players union are trying to use a more "standardized" suspension format.

Last few similar cases got about 8 games and generally reduced by a few to 6 or something

Either way, yeah he is a moron and this is gonna hurt his pocketbook. Not gonna be fatal to his career though unless something else comes out like it's on video or something. If that's the case-then yeah his career is over.

It was from his arrest at Ut, missing practice, and his general demeanor at Ut, how he treated people and such. Personally I thought a lot of it was by agents/teams trying to lower his draft stock. Guess they ended up being right tho

I “think” and I may be wrong but that was just his decision. He was always nice to me and the kids after games. So it’s not like they hid him from public.
