Hard to win the east when you are 10-15 spots behind GA in the recruiting rankings.

The point I am making is stars do not matter. Like how Saban beat #1 Ohio State, Notre Dame, Penn State, Michigan by actually identifing the talent and recruiting them to Michigan State. He was not recruiting based off some stupid star ranking system. His recruits were good enough to also beat Florida in a bowl game. So now everyone he targets gets a higher star ranking. Do you understand?

The top teams teams have 4 and 5 star players because the players rating is based on what schools are recruiting them. If Western Kentucky is on you you’re a 1or 2 star, South Carolina wants you you’re a 2or 3, Alabubba or Clemson is calling you’re a 4 or 5 star. Rivals, etal. Exist to get fans to shell out money on subscriptions. If you think any coach puts any stock in that mess you’re very wrong.

Why??? The SEC East isnt loaded with 1st round RB's. UGA is the only East school grabbing those types of backs consistently and the results are NO SEC title. RB's are a dime a dozen. If u can run, u can run. Doesnt matter how many stars are next to your name. If it were any other position i might be with u, but RB has more to do with instincts. Either u got them or u don't

Please let me remind some that he was just as much recruited for his return skills. Very good and comfortable catching punts which can win or lose games. He is a very good back to provide depth and can line up at slot as well. And he is Big O best friend so for you star gazers he is as good as any Lineman in top 100. I preference that by Lineman because he could be AA at either position will see in time. So all in all a great commitment.
