J Jennings Dismissed from UT

I was kinda wanting to give Brady the benefit of the doubt about the LSU game but not any more. I think hes still taking orders from Butch by phone. He will be dismissed himself soon but not soon enough.

I remember what Callaway said when Jennings got hurt. He was adamant that Jennings would be around and on the sidelines. Me thinks JJ has been a problem all year.

That's ridiculous. No player should be able to get a free pass for cursing coaches on social media. Who does Jennings think he is? I can't believe you guys are condoning that kind of behavior. Will you guys condone it if he cusses the new staff? He went way past the line and got what he deserved.

My guess is that he assumed an absence of authority after the head coach was fired. But yeah, good question. You would think anyone would have sense enough to wait, instead of making a bad situation worse for everybody. Somewhere along the way, JJ went off the reservation.

Hurd and Jennings....reminds me of the Kelly Washington debacle. Fulmer lost the respect he'd worked so hard for when he allowed a player or three to walk to a different beat. A coaching staff needs to be unified and resolute. A single set of rules and no exceptions made no matter how talented the player. Stray from that and the staff is as good as done. Just a matter of time. I don't know what the staff did or didn't do, but obviously they made mistakes and it cost them. Jennings crossed a line and paid a price. At this point, they all can just move on. I'm turning the page. It's about the new staff and the players they deem worthy of keeping on the roster. Turning this entire roster over can't happen soon enough to suit me.

I do not like this decision. Jennings should have shut his mouth and needs discipline. But not a team dismissal and definitely not from a coach that knows he won’t be around more than a couple more weeks. Currie needs to take a quick break from the Bahamas to handle this.

Addition by subtraction, huh.I remember when an empty suit president promised us our nation would "lead from behind". Both are cool sounding statements, but saying losing Jennings is addition by subtraction sounds to me a lot like leading from behind.

Hell let's just kick all the starters off cause I heard they said stuff too. Really teach em a lesson. We may suck but by golly we'll have discipline.
